I placed a mobile order at Wendy’s on July 1st 2023 for the #00001763 University Blvd S location.
It took approximately 57 minutes to receive my order only to find my order was not completely correct. The customer service was nonexistent since the employees could not stay calm and contain their composure. Instead, they yelled and cursed and did everything they could to try and make customers feel they were in the wrong.
Initially I went inside to get my order. I was told by the employee the order was just accepted but had not been started yet. During the 30 minutes I waited inside the lobby I wittinesses multiple customers complain their order was either not correct or not even started. One customer was told he could not get a refund on the order he still hadn’t received because a general manager was not there. When I inquired again about my order again, it still had not even been started. I was also told they could not pull up my mobile order or provide a receipt to me. It seemed that orders through the drive thru were being prioritized even though the cars were still being asked to park and wait for their food. I told the employees I’d be going through the drive thru. Once it was my turn at the drive thru speaker I was told they were no longer taking orders. I explained I was just inside and I have had already paid for my order online. The employee tried to tell me they didn’t have my order but while I was inside I was told they accepted my online order. The order just hadn’t been started. The employee finally told me to pull around. Once I got to the window I was told to park and wait for my food. I kindly declined and told them I’d be waiting at the window in my car, especially because there were no cars behind me. Once I received the bags of food I wanted to check them before pulling away. The employee at the window told me to come inside if I needed to check my orders because I was holding up the line. Meanwhile, another employee was getting upset, yelling that I had been sitting at the window for 10 minutes. These employees were very rude and cursing throughout my time at the location.
By the time I was handed my food the ice in my drinks had melted and the frosty were half melted. The order was not entirely correct and they did not follow the custom orders that were made for each meal. The nuggets and fries were undercooked and not edible.
I am highly disappointed in this whole experience at Wendy’s and their employees. I most certainly will not be returning to any Wendy’s location because of this...
Read moreIf i could give zero stars i would. I just attempted to go through the drive thru with no one at the speaker. Thinking the speaker might be broken i drive up to the window and sit there for a minute. there is not a SINGLE worker in the kitchen area, alright so wendys is closed. OH NO, i roll up past the main dining area to see the entire staff sitting at different tables on there cellphones just texting, talking and laughing. I get it, restuarants are short staffed, but this is straight time theft by the employees unless there is some kind extenuating circumstance that the kitchen is down. In either case it reflects really poorly on the establishment, the owners, and Wendy's if whatever is going on isn't also communicated to the consumer. A simple sign on the speakee they were closed would of sufficed. Instead it seemed as if they were blatantly disregarding orders and disrespecting there employer. I have a video I took of the instance as proof the kitchen was empty and will include some screen shots for the owners. If it was some kind of issue with equipment I'd understand.try your best to communicate that to the consumer. While this is the food industry you also have a duty to provide the best experience possible. And given what i could see it was not provided tonight. I will admit i do not have all the details pertaining to why they were down. They simply could of provided a better experience by simply explaining why they were down, again, even a note on the speaker...

Ordered on app: biggie bag with sweet tea and cheese fries side. Confirmed order at the order box and then at drive thru window they told me they don’t have sweet tea or cheese sauce. Asked if I still wanted it, I said yes but expected them to add cheese or melt the cheese. The cheese fries had flakes of cold cheese on it, but barely any. Didn’t even cover the fries.
Then, I got 3 nuggets instead of 4. And ONE was bit into!!!! I swear it was not me on my life I promise I picked it up like that. I count when I eat certain things (OCD) so I counted 2, took a drink of my sprite I had to get instead of my ordered sweet tea, and then reached in the nugget holder and one was left and it had a bite out of it. It looks like a bit at least. I KNOW I didn’t do it and my bf saw it too. I gaslit myself into thinking I was trippin but I swear I am so honest about this.. be so fr wendys it’s not that hard
Plus last time my aunt went to this location the lady was mean as hell to her and she’s like 70 and whoever worked drive thru that evening was rude as heck and they got into a huge argument and she lied about being a manager.
