Four Boys Ice Cream — Restaurant in Jamesburg

Horrible experience at the location in Jamesburg. I arrived at about 9:45pm. As soon as I pull up they turned off the lights. One of the girls starts counting her tips in front of the window. Completely ignoring me. So I stand around for about another 10 minutes, because I figure maybe she needed to keep her concentration counting. I knock on the window and ask, are you going to serve us (2 people behind me at this point). To which she replies, we're closed. I ask her "when do you close, because it says 11pm online. She say's "no we close at ten". It was 9:55 and I'd already been standing there for 10 minutes. The other girls working there ignored me like I wasn't there. Very disrespectful

I said, are you sure you can't serve me I scoop of ice cream? She said "no" again. Me and the other two customers left empty handed.

Haven’t been to this shop since the kids were young (like 15 years lol) but today I happened to be passing by and stopped on impulse. I had a wafer cone of chocolate nut surprise and vanilla peanut butter. PB ice cream is my go-to and this did not disappoint! Probably the best I’ve ever had….very generous amount of peanut butter, which is unfortunately not the norm in most places, and big hunks of it which was awesome. The chocolate had full walnut halves, chips and what seemed like crushed Oreos. The ice cream itself was perfect, just the right amount of creaminess and served at just the perfect consistency of just starting to get melty. I bought, walnut maple with pistachio, where walnut maple was good but had green fiber like stuff in pistachio when asked them & showed her twice in what the green fiber like stuff is, she said she doesn't know what it is and all their ice-cream has such green fibers. Even tried to squeeze the green fiber with fingers but couldn't, so couldn't understand what it can be. My wife took cherry vanilla and strawberry and hers was good but she didn't have such fibers, so the lady lied.
