This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Central Jersey for more reasons than one! They have a wide variety of menu options ranging from pizzas, burgers, gyros, kabob platters/wraps, and more. And the best part -- it is all 100% halal! Besides the variety of the food, it tastes beyond incredible; truly some of the best halal food in the state and the portions are plentiful for the price. The restaurant is also extremely clean, including the bathrooms. The staff is extremely exceptional. As this is a family-operated restaurant, the staff genuinely cares about their customers. Excellent service from the management in terms of communication and timing. The Falafel is on point and so is the rice. When I got to the Chicken Kabob, the meat itself was very tender and moist but was way too salty. My wife and I struggled to continue after two pieces. Luckily there were lemon wedges on the salad, that helped in bringing down the salt level. Please watch the salt during marination. The Pizza had a very good crust, but the sauce needs a little more work in the flavor department.

My experience at Jersey Kabob was not desirable. The food was okay at best, but you would not believe what happened. Firstly, when I was at the front desk, the young boy was on his phone the whole time. I ordered takeout. When I asked the young boy at the front desk when it's ready, he ignored me. I kept on persisting, and he started cursing at me and made fun of my looks. When I got the food, and I was standing looking for something and he was looking at me weirdly, and started making faces.
