I am ashamed to say I've lived in Jamestown for almost four years and never dined here until today. My husband was always stuck on Landmark or the Chop House. Well, he was very pleased with his meal today. We've had Calamari at various locations all over the country, and we were very surprised with the caliber of what we got at La Cucina. It was extremely tender, perfectly breaded, and seasoned. I had the Lobster Ravioli. I assume it was Pacific or warm water lobster as it was light on flavor, but the Ravioli had plenty in it, and the Rose sauce didn't overpower it. Hubby had the Seafood Combo and was very satisfied. The Mussels, Squid, and Clams were very tender. The Shrimp was a little tough but still flavorful and edible. He felt the dish overall was very good, just too plentiful. The service was stellar. We were too full for dessert but will definitely return soon.

Food and service are excellent. We started our meal with the fried cheese ravioli appetizer. Then we ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with Broccoli and Chicken Parmesan with Angel hair pasta. The Chicken dish came with a nice salad which included slices of tomatoes, carrots, olives, onions, cucumbers, and I ordered the Blue Cheese dressing. As a side we were given toasted garlic knot bread. Although this may have been because they originally forgot to put the broccoli in the Alfredo dish. The portions were large and we both took leftovers home. The waitress was very personable and provided wonderful service. We ate out on the covered deck. Although, the view was of the street and a plaza parking lot, the atmosphere was pleasant but a bit loud at times. Overall our experience was good, and we will return to try more.

Nonna's stuffed eggplant...minus the olives and pimentos it was probably the best thing I ate that night. Garlic knots take another hard tie at an even 2 out of 10 with the egg🍆. 🍝 and đŸ„Š alfredo...both a -3 at best and I never leave an awful review but the spaghetti had a horrible seasoning and the meatball was like eating mushy paste and the Alfredo was a flour water roux with no taste other than flour and water note the water on the edges of the alfredo bowl đŸ€ź No parmesan or alfredo taste whatsoever. The service was average the atmosphere was wierd at best. Would not return unfortunately. If you're looking for an even "good" Italian restaurant this is not it. Unfortunately. I honestly feel terrible writing a review this awful but it is honest food critic opinion.

I usually don't leave negative reviews but, this visit was the first time my husband ever went. I've been before for lunch and it was fine, however, this past Saturday 11/2, my husband and I went for dinner. The place looks clean and nice. We are seated and immediately greated with fruit flies. It's that time of year so I can deal with a couple but, the minute I got my glass of wine, we were attacked. We were only given 1 napkin each and my husband used his to smoosh the fruit flies. When our server came over, (poor girl only there for 3 days) I asked for the soup of the day. She responded "I don't know". When ordering our entree, my husband ordered a seafood pasta dish. The server came back and asked my husband "what kind of dressing do you want for the pasta" When asked what do you mean dressing, again, "Idk". The chef came out and gave him an option of garlic butter sauce or marinara. He chose garlic butter. The entrees came and I chose the "home made lasagna", clearly this was not home made but probably a frozen meal dressed with some sauce and cheese. My husband began eating and said the seafood was all over done and rubbery. He had broccoli on the side that came out after he had eaten some of the entree. This was the first time he did not either eat his whole meal or ask for a box. A couple hrs later and he was in the bathroom throwing up. Same thing the next morning. I was so sad because I didn't want to hate it. We should of left after being attacked with the...

We were really excited to try this place and love it. We didn't love it. My meal was the best out of the 4. I got Chicken Parmesean. The chicken was so plentiful that I shared with everyone! It was good, but I didn't care for the marinara sauce. Had an odd flavor. The other dishes, lobster ravioli had too much sauce and he didn't taste any lobster. Cheese tortalini, had too much Alfredo sauce and the tortalini didn't have cheese in it. The Fettuccine Alfredo that my fiance ordered had too much sauce and he said tasted like jar. He orders Alfredo quite often and knows good! The garlic knots were way to garlicky. I know, there's garlic in the name, but whoa! Would have been great with a little less. Also, did not care for the house dressing. I thought at an Italian restaurant it would be more if an "Italian" dressing. It was an oniony watered down French. Not good. We saw pizza coming out that looked delicious! I would go back or pick up a pizza to try one more time! Staff was very good. Cleanliness was good. Lighting kind of weird and not over the table. My dad stood up from his chair and hit his head on the light fixture. I don't like leaving poor reviews, but it was way too much money for what was served. Maybe try to serve better quality food or...
