Full Moon Rising Bakery — Restaurant in Jamestown

My sister and I had gotten cupcakes for my nieces 4th birthday party. Was $75 for maybe 20 cupcakes!! So at the party we tried them because everyone was talking about trying the bakery. They were VERY dry! I called and asked what they could do about it because we had to purchase more cupcakes that we wouldn’t have to worry about kids choking on. She said to call back the next day and she would refund us the 75 dollars. Ok not what I was wanting but great! The next day I call her she wouldn’t respond and when she did she had to leave to get her daughter. The next day, I had messaged her on Facebook no response. (Facebook was how I originally got ahold of her to place an order)I had then called the bakery she wasn’t there. She was getting her daughter. Took her at least 3-4 hrs to call back. She was able to meet up with one of us. At this time she was snobby about it and said I personally made them myself and I know there was nothing wrong with them, she then gave us $50 back. Like I said wasn’t trying to rip her off or get all my money back but she lied to us, AND was VERY unprofessional how she talked to us in person, and obviously don’t care about...

Recently, my friend tried to get some cookies for her daughters birthday. She ended up calling and reserving these cookies on January 6. She waited multiple days to get a response and without one she decided to go into the shop, the owner of the shop told her that she cannot pay at the shop in person. Well, she was picking up the cookies and the order got canceled. That’s just what I have experienced secondhand but personally, I have also dealt with the owners daughter. Who is a manipulator and a liar and likes to hurt others for fun. In 2021 her daughter started bullying me and even took baby pictures of mine and put cuts all over them. I brought my dad to the attention of this, and he tried to get a hold of the mother, but she proceeded to ignore these accusations brought upon her daughter, and instead of talking about it she screamed at us the one time I saw her in public. Very unprofessional and unreliable. Often cancels orders last minute. Quality of products have gone way down hill

I placed an order January 6th. I had to message her over and over again and after 16 days she finally sent me an invoice. Within 10 days she canceled my invoice via email 2 days before pick up. She had other means of contacting me and did not. At no point did she stipulate a period of time that the invoice needed paid so i was under the impression I could pay at pick up. I went to pay the invoice and saw it was canceled. I reached out to her and got no response. so I called the store which she also did not answer and left a voicemail explaining I was going to post a review because what she did was wrong and very unprofessional at which point she contacted me via Facebook and told me she had expectations of being paid that she had never communicated.
