I hate to give this place a bad review being that it just opened but honestly, don't waste your money. The hype over the names is a lot more than the quality of their products. My oldest son took me there for my birthday. He told me he'd take me anywhere I wanted to go and I was feeling very nostalgic so I picked Dunkin donuts and Baskin Robbins. I was so excited! Walking in was nice. The place was super clean and air conditioned which was really nice because it was really hot that day. I noticed a guy on a ladder doing some kind of work in the ceiling but paid him no mind. I ordered my coffee first but they don't have that great of a selection. I chose the birthday cake ice latte and then I ordered a doughnut. Not much of a selection there either. I got a lemon filled dipped in sugar glaze. I was really disappointed about the taste of both. My son got a regular hot coffee with one cream, two sugars. It took them close to ten minutes to get his coffee for him. Then the guy on the ladder started spraying something into the ceiling! Total chemical fog! Inside the restaurant! The manager came running out yelling for the man to stop. None of us got any compensation or even an apology. Next my son insisted that we get some ice cream. At this point I just wanted to leave but he was determined that I was going to get something from this place that would make me smile. So to make him feel better I went to the ice cream counter. Nothing much there either. By this time I wasn't surprised by that. I tried to order just a single scoop of plane chocolate but they didn't have chocolate, or vanilla or strawberry or anything that would be just a simple flavor. So finally I ordered a single scoop of strawberry cheesecake swirl and Robbie got chocolate, peanut butter. I sat down to eat while he went to go pay for the 1 doughnut, 1 ice latte, 1 regular cup of coffee and 2 scoops of ice cream. I don't even want to tell y'all what he paid for it! Altogether it was almost $20! I'm hoping that we just came in on a bad day. Restaurants have their days too. If I decide to go back and give it another try and they change my mind I'll change my review but as far as now, this place isn't worth wasting your time or money on. Go to Walmart or Jasper donuts if you want a decent doughnut and McDonald's if you want a good ice latte, circle K if you want a good hot cup of coffee and Winn Dixie if you want...
Read moreFirst off, I don't know the difference between a macchiato or a cappuccino or any of the other different kinds of special coffees. I walked up to the counter and told the young lady I was trying to get my wife something and told her she usually does regular coffee with some creamer in it. She explained the difference between the different drinks to me, and I chose the caramel macchiato. The young man behind the counter hands me a drink with ice in it. I asked him, "I didn't know this came with ice in it?" Instead of fixing the error, he proceeds to start calling out to the girl that took my order over his headset "Did this customer ask for an iced macchiato?" while looking at me like I've got two heads!! After 3 or 4 attempts at trying to communicate with her and getting no response, I just said screw it and walked out. UPDATE: So I walked back in to try to fix this situation. The guy behind the counter goes, "Shelby, you're guy's back", which implies they've been talking about me since I left. She wouldn't come and take my order, she made him do it. I stated "I need a hot one this time", and this guy seriously rings up another and says "$5.25". No apologies for screwing up the first order, no trying to fix it, nothing. What in the hell is wrong with these people? Mistakes happen, nobody's perfect. But at least own up to it and fix it when it does. It just goes to prove, we can't have nice things...
Read moreMy husband and I go to Dunkin Donuts every morning after our walk in the park. It has become a pleasant routine for us. The Iced Lattes are excellent. I get one with an extra shot of espresso and a shot of raspberry, while my husband gets an extra shot of espresso and Toasted Almond flavor. We are very satisfied with the service in the drive thru and inside the restaurant. The drinks are excellent and made to perfection. I downloaded the Dunkin Donuts app when I heard that we would be getting a location here in Jasper. So far I have received 4 free large beverages by accumulating points when I make a purchase and have the cashier scan the QR code in my app. I also filled out a quick survey at the online site that's printed on each receipt & got a coupon for a free donut. The donut was delicious and fresh. All and all my husband and I would highly recommend a visit to...
