I got prompt service. I had 2 eggs, toast, biscuit and gravy (no meat in gravy Yay!) and skillet potatoes which were real good. The biscuit was soft and fluffy. Only - was that I only got 1 coffee and a half (the waitress only did a 1/2 refill). But other than that the food was good. Therefore my stars go up to 5.

Service was 3 star but food was 4 star.

I was greeted almost right away and sat at a table. The waitress asked what to drink and I told her. She brought it and she would give me a few minutes to decide my order. What was supposed to be a few minutes was actually a 10 minute wait. She walked past me often but did eventually stop and take my order. At 5:10 I placed my order and asked for a refill. 12 minutes later and she still did not bring me a refill. Finally 12 minutes later I asked her to change table because it was getting cold where I was and looked at her straight in the eyes. That was the 3rd time. This time she brought it.

She brought the food 20 minutes later. I'm glad the grilled chicken was cooked and soft. The little BBQ was good. The coleslaw was ok but needed some salt but otherwise good. The baked potato was well cooked and not overcooked. The sweet tea was pretty good.

Overall the food was good. But the service was mediocre and could be improved.

Oh wow! Just as I'm finishing eating the waitress comes to fill my glass without my asking her too. Must not have liked the intensity...

Went in for lunch today first time trying it out. Always see lots of cars so thought it had to have great food. It was busy inside so waited and waited for someone to take our drink order. Drinks were served in a timely manner but after ordering our two sandwiches the wait was so long we almost walked out.We saw people who came in after us receive their order while we were still waiting. We ordered a club sandwich and a rib eye sandwich, and asked for french fries instead of the bag of chips the sandwich came with ( $1.00 extra) When are food arrived we could not get over the portion of meat on the sandwiches. The chicken on the club was about 1/8 of an inch thick and was barely even seen since the sandwich was so small. When I ordered the ribeye sandwich I was asked how I wanted the steak cooked and I ordered medium rare. When my sandwich arrived I couldn't see how that would matter since my steak slice was 1/4 of an inch thick. I was expecting a steak not a sliver of meat on a hamburger bun. How does one cook a sliver medium rare? The lettuce on the sandwich was not a leaf but tiny pieces more like a salad. I expected a little more for an 8 dollar sandwich not including fries. The lighting in the restaurant was very dim and hard to read the folded piece of paper menu (really??) I am not sure why everyone seems to rave about this place, we certainly wont...

Found this place by accident. Love, love, love it. We have eaten breakfast there twice in a week and have cleaned our plates both times and for me, this does not happen. The ham is smoked and oh my... It is wonderful. Eggs and hash browns cooked just like we want. Going to try dinner this week. UPDATE... Dinner not good. Green fried tomatoes burnt and tasted like fried fish. Steak was not good just a filler. Beans super bland and watery. Country fried chicken cooked to death..hard where fork had hard time penetrating. Cooked Apple's were bland, tasted like boiled apples with cinnamon sugar water. Corn was so void of flavor like they were the no salt canned. Butter and salt didn't help. Grilled pork chops were also void of flavor, not even a grilled taste. Mentioned to waitress how bad everything was. Nothing done!!! Was told the blandness was due to having a lot of older people eat there and they can't add alot of flavoring...huh! Breakfast awesome, dinner no. Went from 5 star for breakfast to 2 star due to an awful...
