Four Seasons Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

My family had dinner here a week or so ago. We like to eat here frequently and it's always been great food and service. However, on this particular day, my husband's steak was very undercooked. He ordered it medium rare....when he cut into it it moo'ed,it was that raw. We brought it to the servers attention, who stated that she would let the manager know. Server was excellent. The manager came to our table and you could feel the attitude emanating from her. My husband showed her the steak, and she replied ( very snotty) " well you asked for medium rare, right?" My husband said" yes,but this is very rare." She then offered to throw it back on the grill, but with that attitude he wasn't taking a chance. He just said" you know what,I'll just take it home". She offered again,but we said no thanks. She was just very rude,and even after seeing the steak. We have never been treated like that at any restaurant. It wasn't busy or anything. Ate here twice while visiting family and friends "back home" in Bryan. I was reluctant because I am not used to "small town restaurants". I live in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Being used to large (& usually chain restaurants), I wasn't sure I could find anything to eat (I am vegetarian). I was very pleasantly surprised with both the food and service the 2 times we ate here!

I ordered the Lemon Rice Soup on one visit, and Broccoli Cheese Soup the next. Also some side dishes both times.

The serving portion sizes are huge and wonderfully good! Also had a side salad that was much better (and way larger) than I have found for a very long time in the Metro Phoenix area!!

Actually, many restaurant owners in Arizona could learn quite a bit by visiting Four Seasons!! The only problem I had was being too full to try the Baklava!!

Food was good, but service was not great. We were greeted by the lady who was bussing tables and she was very nice. But our waitress not so much, when I tried to order fried eggs instead of poached, she was like "oh, well you want this then", and jotted down what she thought was best for us to order, so of course we didn't get everything we wanted, and when I finally got her attention and asked for a side of Hollandaise sauce she said "it's to late now, you will be done by the time it gets made" so I said never mind. We were there for another 20 minutes so I'm sure there was time. Also giving me the check before the food even came out. And acting like it was a problem that my 6 year old wanted a coloring page. She was not very nice at all, wish I got...
