We sat at the table waiting for waitress for 8 min. When she came back to take order she and another waitress had a discussion on who was going to serve table next to us versus just taking our order. When the food came I had ordered black eye peas. They tasted awful. I had to spit them back out in my napkin. The ac vents looked pretty dirty. In positive note the country fried steak was good. The people who sat down 5 min after us rec'd their order and left before us. I also seen posted home cooking. The vegetables are not fresh. My husband had the green beans. We have wanted to try this restaurant but never had the chance until today. Are order was messed up instead of getting 1 plate of 3 piece chicken tenders and fries they gave 3 plate of tenders and fries. Way to much food and NOT what I ordered. When we corrected the order the EXTREMELY RUDE cook came out and told us not to order so much food next time. We didn't order that it was a mistake. The grill food was not good at all very dry and bland! We should have walked out because of the rudeness of the cook instead we ate our food in what felt like a very hostile environment. Ate lunch there. Not home cooking! Veggies out of can or frozen. When I bit into fried squash, grease poured out. Some of the worst food I’ve had at a restaurant.

The rest of this is for the person who gave his or her answer to my remark. You said or indicated I did not say anything while I was there to “fix my problem” and further said that didn’t make “any sense”.
