I love KFC. I have been a loyal customer for years. But the last 3 or 4 visits I have made to this location 5501 IN-62, Jeffersonville, IN 47130 have been less than good. I know they don't care if I ever come back again as I am sure they have ample traffic at this location. The problems I have with them include orders being wrong, passive aggressive worker attitudes, and food prep not up to snuff. The last visit I ordered on line due to a timing issue I had. I placed my order at 11:45 AM with pickup for 1:15 PM. I arrived at 1:18 to get the order and was informed that I would have a 4 minute wait because they had to drop the wings I ordered and it takes 4 minutes to cook them. Why bother to order ahead and pay for it if you're still having to wait for them to cook it? When I questioned this, I was told well, we are busy!! Yet when I got there no one was in line ahead of me and it was empty except for the workers. I also told the young lady at the pickup window that my wife had missed an item (cookie), from her last order, had called and was told she could get it the next time we came. They took her name and said it would be written down. I asked for that free cookie and also paid for an extra one. I was told to pull around and park since I had that 4 min wait. When the order was brought to the car I asked if the extra cookie was in the bag. The young man said no there was only 1 on the order so I told him again about the free one. He said he would have to check it out, went back inside. Came back with a hand full of cookies and tossed them through the open car window and turned and hurried back inside. Didn't say a word. Service like this and attitudes like that tells me they don't want my business here. It is the closest location to my home, but I will be driving the few minutes more to go to another place...
Read moreUsed to be the best location around until something changed!! Last 3 visits got progressively worse, at first just had issues getting everything put with order, but at least corrected it. Second to last time, forgot part of order again and potatoes were watery,, but again they made it right. But this last time was a total disaster!! Forgot 3 items on order, went to eat and whoever the cook was put zero seasonings on the chick n and severely overcooked it to the point it was so dried out it had to be thrown away!!! Contacted both store and corporate offices, and got no response whatsoever!!!!! We have 3 locations closer to us and used to drive the extra distance to go to this location, but after this last experience, I believe we'll give our business to Indi's, Popeye's, or Church's, unless they decide to fix whatever they changed!!! KFC has made a drastic turnaround in both customer service and food quality and it's just too bad, it used to be one of the last places a person could go to get a decent meal with great customer service, now it's no different from the rest!!!!! Do your self a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere, you'll be better...
Read moreUpdate Well this place was never great but now it is horrid. We have tried it several times to give it a chance and it seems each time is worse than the last. Today I ordered online at 7:45pm. The order was to be ready at 8:00. I arrived at 7:59 and was finally asked what I wanted at about 8:05. I told them I had an online order. They then told me that I would either have to get a refund through the website or it would be more than 30 minutes more for the order they had not even started.
I called the online number which took fifteen of the minutes to get the acknowledgement for the refund which may be processed ???
They also locked the door at 8:00p even though the door clearly said they were open until 9:00p.
Then one of there grubby boyfriends sit in the place bad mouthing me the whole time I was on the phone.
If this is the experience you expect then please go to this KFC. if not maybe go down the road to anther place.
