We USED to go here 2-3 times a month. The food and service was always great, until tonight. Everything was cold, dry, soggy, and just not like how it usually is. It's usually fresh is what I'm saying. The servers were rude and lacked manners. I called the waiter over to tell him about it and when he arrived at the table he said "what?" In an unprofessional manner. I proceeded to explain how everything was unsatisfactory and we usually don't complain and how I loved it there and Chinese is my favorite type of food and some jackass at the next table decided to that he wanted to mind our business and run his mouth to my step mom, dad, and I that we were just looking for a free meal. He continues to insult us verbally and threatened us physically. He asked if any of us work, we didn't answer. We are all disabled. My dad and I are ex Military and are retired, and my step mom is extremely disabled. We tried to ignore the best we could. I know it's irrelevant about the food but he didn't help the situation in an already annoyed setting. I paid in full for the meal even though I didn't even finish my first plate, I could usually destroy 2-3 plates. Everything about tonight was awful. I hope everyone doesn't have to deal with what we did tonight. We most certainly won't be...
Read moreYou know what, I gave this place a chance because every parking spot was taken. It's attached to the Days Inn Motel, so I didn't know what to expect. I don't care about location or decor of a restaurant, I just want the service and food to be good. And this place nailed it. I was seated immediately and drink order taken. I indulged in some sushi, which is limited in selection, while I waited for my made-to-order hibachi was cooked.
The hibachi was well cooked and seasoned. The buffet food was hot and fresh. Nothing appeared to have been sitting too long.
The selection is small, but they have the basics of what you're looking for at a Chinese buffet. The restrooms are shared with the motel, so they are kind of far from the main dining area, and they are not well kept. I'm assuming the motel is responsible for keeping them clean.
I will eat here again for sure. Give...
Read moreI went to this buffet right when they were opening. The food was extremely fresh. I was very shocked to see that the only plates and drinking glasses available were styrofoam - and the only utensils available were plastic ones. I am not opposed to disposable plates, glasses, and utensils - it is just that I have NEVER seen a "sit down" restaurant serve food this way. The food was visually appealing and tasted okay. It is far from the best Chinese food I have ever eaten - but it is decent and serves the purpose of feeding the body. In my opinion the food lacked flavor and spice. I experienced it as more bland than flavorful. I paid $13.80 for my lunch buffet. That is a good value for an all you...
