I absolutely LOVE; NEW England Fish Restaurant and their fish market. I go to their restaurant at least once if not twice a week for carry-out. The staff and service has NEVER been subpar.
Juan, I have to say is my favorite employee. Heās always š nice and welcoming and he knows my usual order. Yes, of course during my time coming to this restaurant; Iāve gotten the wrong order. But! mistakes will always happen and on that rare occasion it does; I will be offered a COMP for next time. Even tho A business makes a mistake or may give you a bad experience; itās how they rectify the situation that will determine whether or not I come back? Because, of their excellent service and food; Iāll always come back.
Conchy Joes is my second favorite place for seafood, but honestly I only go their for their drinks, riverside view and reggae. Conchyās ā food ā is just OK, but it does not compare to New England ās food. Kylie Gās food is absolutely Disgusting and WAY overpriced but their happy hour for their alcoholic drinks are Amazing.
Iāve been a Jensen Beachāer for 12 years and have been to all local restaurants In search for best seafood in town and New England hands down is the best for āseafoodā and their fresh seafood market is AWESOME!!
The Shrimp Acapulco dish is the absolute BEST ceviche type dish Iāve EVER had. Iāve been to Mexico and other South American countries and where do I find the best shrimp ceviche? Well, it was rite down the street from me the whole time at New England restaurant. Their yellow fin tuna is soooo good and their āConch frittersā are the best in town! Yes, even better than Conchy Joes. Oh! And their monthly specials are delicious and they do a nice variety so you can always get surprised with a new favorite dish. For instance, in August one of their specials for their lobster mania month was A Gulf Shrimp/ Lobster pasta dish that was to die for it was sooooo delicious.
I know Iāll be coming to New England Restaurant and Fish market For years to come because they are simply the best seafood in town, so go and find out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere are two places listed here. The Fish Market and the Restaurant. Theyāre connected business wise. On the left is the Market and on the right thereās the Restaurant.
The market is very clean with a variety of cooked/prepared sea food in the left case. In the middle case thereās shrimp and crabs. In the front cases thereās clams, muscles, scallops, shrimp, squid and oysters on one side with fresh fish on the other. Then on the right they have some frozen land animals which I didnāt inspect too much. We didnāt purchase anything here, but the staff was very helpful and happy to discuss their products.
The restaurant has the best decor! Itās always busy so I didnāt take many photos, but itās something to experience. One tip is that prices change due to market price, if youāre dining on a budget this might not be the best option for you, but the food was delicious! Itās also about an hour wait to get seated, so be prepared for long lines, although I didnāt feel the service was overly slow.
The waitresses, Belinda, helped me navigate through the menu to pick Dairy Free Options. (There are also Gluten Free options listed.) I picked the Broiled Seafood Dinner (3 Shrimp, 3 Scallops, Salmon, and a big Crab Cake, with 3 sauces) with my two sides being fries and corn. My family recommends getting the Lemon Butter Sauce for the Crab Cake, they raved about it! No one really cared for the ranch and the tarter was very good but stong on the Dill so I might be biased. My spouse got the Haddock Milanaise, which came highly recommended by Belinda, who said it was one of their most popular dishes. It comes with the Lemon Butter Sauce and two sides, which they chose the seasonal vegetables (green beans) and corn. For 5 meals, 2 soft drinks (the rest had water), and 2 Appetizers, plus tip, our bill was around $200.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI dined here for the first time this evening with a party of 10. I ordered the shrimp scampi for $14 along with 2 glasses of wine. I pointed to the item on the menu when ordering. The menu indicated it was $14. No problem. Upon ordering the waitress said it came with a salad and asked which dressing I would like. I hadnāt intended to get salad but she stated it came with it. I ate about 1/2 the salad. The meal came and it tasted very good. The portion was large so i only ate 1/2 the waitress asked if I wanted a box So I said sure. Upon receiving my check, I noticed I was charged $21 for the meal. I kindly pointed out to the waitress that the menu said 14. she informed me that she had given me the shrimp scampi dinner at the higher price. I told her that was not what I had ordered and I had pointed to it on the menu when I ordered it. She claimed that was an appetizer? Honestly, I have never seen shrimp scampi as an appetizer , but OK. I asked her to adjust my bill because thatās not what I had ordered. she argued with me that I had got a salad and ate it and had eaten my dinner. I showed her the box and said I had not eaten all of it but either way thatās not what I had ordered and didnāt feel I should have paid for it. She proceeded to take back the leftover box and adjust my bill but with a huge attitude. I just am really annoyed that in this day and age of struggling businesses you would just not assume the customer was correct and kindly adjust the bill. No need for a bad attitude. She couldāve easily asked the manager to speak with me if she felt I was being unreasonable and I wouldāve explained it them Instead, she argued with me making me feel like i was being cheap , especially by taking back the box of leftovers. needless to say me and my party of 10 probably wonāt be back anytime soon. Not good business...
