After having friends tell me how good this place is, I decided to take my granddaughter there. It was early so they weren’t busy. We went to the patio but it started to rain and my granddaughter was cold, she’s 20, and was visiting from college which she attends in West Palm. We found a table in front of the bar. We ordered, she had coffee and I asked for water, no lemon. Drinks came quickly but had no lemon. No biggie happens a lot. My granddaughter ordered the ravioli with vodka sauce, and a salad. I ordered a 12 “ pizza with cauliflower crust, I’m not gluten free, just like the that kind of crust. My granddaughter gets her garlic bread, then the the salad. She finishes her salad, and one of the runners, not sure if that’s what they are called here, picks it up. Few minutes later a runner brings her ravioli, it’s definitely not vodka sauce. She asks a runner about it, she’s very kind and takes the dish back to the kitchen and our waitress sees this grabs the dish from her and comes back out with the ravioli with vodka sauce. It was amazing. My granddaughter’s family on her Mom’s side are Italian, she’s used to good Italian cooking. She was very pleased with her meal, which she finished, shared a bite with me, it was so good. I was still waiting for my pizza, now mind you, her dish was super hot and she allowed it to cool. No one came to check on us, ask us how are meal was. Which I was still waiting for mine. All the while my waitress is standing up at the bar entering cards in a machine, not sure what they were but there was maybe 4 tables in the place when we got there. It was about 3:30 when we arrived. It was now 4:30. I told my granddaughter maybe she thought I was taking it home. So I got up and asked her about it. She went back came out with my pizza. The top of the pizza was steaming hot but the crust was doughy. Assuming the fresh tomatoes had caused this since it was probably sitting there for a long time. After trying to eat one piece of the doughy pizza, I was done. Another runner asked if we needed a box because I had only had one piece, and could tell I was finished. My granddaughter said yes, but I wasn’t going to try a recook the pizza so when the waitress finally comes over she’s asked if I was full, I said no just didn’t care for the soggy crust. She explained how the fresh tomatoes were the cause. I have had this pizza before at other places and made it myself at home, never had these problem. My granddaughter asked her for the check, she said she’d remove the pizza which she did. After bringing the check, it sat there with my card for about 10-15 minutes. One of the runners stood by our table not facing us, but apologized and said the gentleman at the register at the bar could check us out. She said she was sorry but she couldn’t. She seemed afraid to go against this waitress, maybe after seeing her grab the ravioli from another runner. But I can’t say for sure. The gentleman at the register was kind and took care of us asked about the gluten free pizza and I told him I wasn’t a gluten free person, just loved that kind of pizza. I left a 15.00 tip, not for the horrible waitress, but for the runners who would get stiffed if I were to give her what she deserved. My granddaughter works at a restaurant, she does everything but waitress and gets a cut from the waitresses. After being there that long they were getting a crowd coming in. I wanted to warn them of the waitress but held my tongue. I will go back because the restaurant was amazing the food I seen being served looked amazing. But this waitress, who I think by the way she treated the other staff was probably management. Hopefully she was spoken to but I doubt it. Would have been a 5 star if the waitress would have at least brought my food to me before it was ruined and before my granddaughter was finished...

Veronica's choice, the Linguini with Shrimp in Marinara sauce, was a true revelation. The combination of perfectly cooked linguini, succulent shrimp, and a marinara sauce that seemed to burst with freshness was nothing short of delightful. It set the perfect tone for a memorable evening, complemented by a glass of wine that further enhanced the overall dining experience.
On the other side of the table, Vic indulged in one of Santos' signature dishes—the Lasagna. Piled high with layers of fresh ricotta, pasta, Bolognese sauce, and fresh mozzarella, this dish was a masterpiece. The flavorful burst with each bite was exhilarating, leaving a lasting impression that speaks volumes about the culinary expertise behind the scenes.
To wash down this fantastic meal, we opted for an ice-cold draft beer, and it proved to be the perfect choice. The refreshing beverage added a delightful touch to an already impeccable dining experience.
What truly made our visit special was the ambiance and hospitality at Original Santos Pizza. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was enjoyable. Read moreI have never been here before so on Mother's Day my Son and I decided to order from this restaurant because my Parents said they have ordered from here before and liked it so due to my parent's being elderly we didn't want to have to wait in line for a table on a very stormy Mother's day so we had ordered using one of thier coupons it included a large Pizza (1 topping of your choice) as well as 6 garlic knots and a 2 liter Soda all for $17.95. We all agreed that the Garlic knots were very well done with burnt garlic in the bottom of the container and little to no butter they were dry, very disappointing! The Pizza was fair nothing I can rave about at all. *But this was nothing compared to the young woman (On the Deli/Bakery side) that helped (if you can say that) through her nasty looks and denial that anything could possibly be brought back due to the item not being what it was presented as and I even asked in detail before I purchased it from her a couple day's earlier. She argued with me when I told her it tasted terribly and why is there rice in the Prosciutto Mozz deep fried ball's? Before purchase I specifically asked this same woman, does that mean it's a ball of fresh Mozz. wrapped in Prosciutto and deep fried? She replied yes, well she was SO WRONG. In actuality, inside it looked like ground up corned beef hash and the taste was honesty bad. There was no melted stringy cheese in the middle like I anticipated and had my tastebuds ready for. The dinner I had made around 4 of these was ruined and my Son who eats everything couldn't take more than 1 bite either. So, I put the remaining 3 and a 1/2 back in the container to take back and get a refund, $7 and change! (Not cheap but I was willing to pay for top quality and freshness). That's when I ran into the same gal I explained the situation and she immediately met me with an argument and thats when she went to grab the gentleman being the counter, he was very apologetic and offered to let us try one's right out of the fryer I declined because it wasn't what I initially thought it was but my Son did and he said it was delicious! We never did get a refund instead my Son was talked into 3 + the one he ate of them. I can't believe they didn't offer us a comp since the initial 4 were spoiled? Listen, to whomever reads my review(s), I'm simply a #Google Local Guide and I'm extremely fair with my review's but if I'm treated unfairly or the product isn't what it's advertised as then I'm a voice for those people who just don't either have the time, means, or just will tell other's by word of mouth. I hope in the future when I try this Restaurant, Deli, or Bakery again I can change my 2...
