Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Jersey Village

I'm actually disappointed to have to post these truths regarding this Church's location. I had not visited in about 9 months due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and I hope that this level of fried chicken sales is Not the norm for them because it was just too over cooked and dried up. I really didn't feel as if I had to survey my order because the young man who assisted me was so efficient with handling my exchange at the drive-thru. This was once a 5- Star restaurant without a doubt. Please do better management? It appears that my fellow neighbors are trusting getting back out to patronize and it's best for everyone if we can all be equally approving. This is my local store and I will try it again. Terrible inside and out. Never fresh product available. They will re-fry your product instead of cooking you a quality item. Evening crew is definitely rude. Heavy set Hispanic lady is never pleasant. No one ever answers the store phone. Will say that the chicken is fresh when it clearly is not. Also they will not cook more product after 8PM. They'll tell you that there will be a 20 minute wait or that the kitchen is shut down. Spanish will be spoken in front of a guest to other employees about you instead of English even though they spoke to you in English. Just a terrible situation. These franchises are a joke. There's never a Manager in the store at several of these locations. Only 1 person has to have a food safety certification unfortunately and that person is not ever present when it matters most. Came on my lunch break which is 15 minutes from where I work. Asked for the $4 box dark & spicy which I had to pay extra for because I don't eat cold slaw so it was 50 cents extra. I didn't complain. I get to work and realize it was the 2 piece white. I called and complained and spoke to a lady name Sita. She told me she was going to replace it. After work I drove all the way back which was 15 min from my job and my job is 20 minutes from my house. I go back to the store and ask for a new $4 box since I had to throw the other away and she said "No I'm only replacing the chicken" but it's sad because I'm going all the way out my way when I came on my break. NEVER going there again and My coworkers and I was loyal customers on the regular bc there isn't a Church's where we work.And I did let all 50 of my workers...
