We eat at Nicks regularly as a date nite out. We have been there enuf times to have experienced a couple hiccups with our order... Please read on! Perfection isnt possible because we are all human right? Nick himself came to our table to find out what the issue was... He stepped up to address any misunderstanding without any prompting on our part... He handled things in the manner You EXPECT Owners to act! He has a well trained staff to whom he is loyal and a clientele to whom he is faithful...

What more can you ask of a businessman dedicated to his customers and his staff?

Know this!... Whenever you go to eat out over 50 times a year at a restaurant you will get to know the crew that serves you and they will get to know you... When the crew recognizes you and even anticipates your usual order then you feel More than welcome! When there is a hiccup and you are treated like gold you understand the character and the culture of the establishment.

Nicks is the Best place to eat in Jerseyville not just because of the food and the service but more than that because of Nick himself and the culture and standards he lives by.

Visited Nicks for the first time this past weekend and was overall very impressed. My grandparents visit this spot for Saturday breakfast every weekend and wanted us all to give it a try when in town. We had a party of over 20 that they got seated, placed our order, brought out our food, and checked us out in under 45 minutes! The food was priced very well for large portions! Most of us enjoyed our meals though some did have a couple issues. The hash browns were slightly undercooked, the ham tasted spoiled, and the gravy was bland. But the eggs, pancakes, omelets, bacon, and sausage were all great. I will say the one server with the strong accent did not listen well or pay attention. We told her several times that we needed the booth next to us for additional family members we were still waiting on and she tried to sit one couple there before she moved them and then brought another couple to sit there right after who were both not with our party. The owner is very personal and even came to visit my grandparents this weekend at my great grandpa’s visitation. I would recommend this place to others and will be back next time we...

Omg where to start, Nick and Zeaza the owners are the most wonderful folks, you just can't ask for better! They also have a hand picked staff of clean, personable, very friendly folks! Their family, children, and staff eat here, that's important, you know its clean, well kept, and fresh if their children eat here! And a staff that works here and eats here, says it all! They offer a wide range of food from quick finger foods for kids to a very nice steak, I have personally had most everything on the menu, all of which I would order again, they have a fresh salad, and nice choice of desserts as well as some suitable for diabetics, this is a homey, welcoming place to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and a nice gathering place, if you are looking for good eats, good company, friendly waitresses, and a quality of food you can consistently count on, please stop here at our hometown favorite restaurant Nick's...
