I took my daughter out to eat here tonight. I'v kinda noticed past 2 times I have gone, I seem to of been overcharged but I just let it slide. Tonight I ordered my usual, the reuben sandwich. I asked as I always have for a side substitute of the cheesey cauliflower instead of fries. I have done this before and usually get charged like $3 extra and they just give me a side amount. First thing I noticed on my receipt was the 6 piece bone in wings my daughter got were $1 more than the menu price. I was told food prices have gone up and it has been posted and they have not gotten new menus. Posted where, Facebook. I am hardly on there, but whatever. I let it slide. Then I noticed my side substitute of cauliflower was $8. Insaine. When I asked about it I was told chesey cauliflower is an appetizer so they just minused the cost of the side fries from the appetizer price. If that is the case I should have gotten an appetizer sized amount with no fries. I was never charged that much previous times. The last thing I noticed was hardly any meat in my reuben sandwich. Usually it is packed with meat, and it was dry, like it was thrown in the microwave. I feel like the past few times Iv been in wasn't very welcoming. I don't know what I ever did wrong. I'm disabled and hardly ever get out. If prices have raised then reflect that on your menu. If an appetizer item can't be made into a side substitute by making it a smaller portion then say so. The waitress was very nice and I know none of this was her fault. I did tip her. I'm sad to say we will not...
Read moreWe had a great experience at Legacy’s for dinner tonight! I was hesitant to go because the last time I was there about 10 years ago there were different owners and it was pretty old and dirty looking. It looks very nice inside now- a much more inviting atmosphere. I wasn’t in the mood for the typical greasy bar food, and they offered so much more than that. I had the street tacos which have burnt ends, shrimp, coleslaw, and a couple different sauces. Even my 8 year old son said he tasted 3 flavors in 1 bite! Absolutely amazing! My husband had their special which was a half rack of ribs, and the only disappointment was getting a half rack instead of a full. I personally don’t like ribs, but I tried them and loved them, and of course my husband thought they were delicious too. My son’s BLT was very good also. The owners came by and talked to us and were very friendly. We plan to return again soon. Legacy’s did...
Read moreThis is review 2.0. I had the Ruben with crinkle fries. Definitely one of the top Rubens I have ever had. It was a little non-standard as the thousand island was on the side, so I dunked my sandwich in it. The reason the sauce was on the side is because customers can't complain it's too much, or too little! That's smart. Cheese curds were pretty good too. 1 pool table, fair amount of seating for customers, a couple TV's to watch...
