I wish I didn't have to be so harsh, but....this was my second visit to this establishment the last couple of weeks. The first visit was highly unnerving for many reasons, but overlooking that I decided to give this location a second chance. Boy, was that a mistake. My husband and I quietly ordered our food to go and on the way out the manager on shift made an extremely unwarranted and disparaging remark about me when she thought I was out of earshot. Considering, in the very short time we were there, 3 different guests had to return their food for being incorrect or poor quality I would hope she would pay more attention to order accuracy than a guest's appearance... but I digress. It was grossly immature, especially from someone who clearly has no idea what they're doing. I've worked in restaurant management for some time now and I've never witnessed such disorganization and poor service. Not to mention, a consistently dirty lobby and poorly trained (could even use the word lazy) staff. I plan on reaching out to a district manager. I've never in my life been talked about so horribly by someone for no reason. I was a polite and paying customer and it truly blows my mind someone that immature is left in charge of that store. No wonder all the other customers were complaining about their food while I was there. She clearly isn't concerned with...
Read moreMy mother &I frequented Arby's in Oak Ridge TN, but have not eaten there in last 6mos. as we have been homeless. Today, 2/7/25 we got an apartment in Johnson City TN and stopped by #1766. I asked Regina T. if they still had Happy Hour & she said "Yes.", so I went on with our regular order. She gave me the total and I was dumbstruck. I HATE confrontation (PTSD) so I just paid and took our food. My mother was shocked and angered. I couldn't even eat mine because I was crying hysterically. We could have gone elsewhere for that amount! We dont have extra money to burn like that! I went outside to wait for my mother to finish. Even though I was nervous I asked to see the manager. Nikki Taylor, Mgr. came up and I told her about what happened. She replied," Well, she's only been here 6 was or so, she must have misunderstood you." If you had come to me before you paid, we could have done something." I said, like what? She replied, "like taking food off until you could afford your bill." She did not apologize nor did she say she'd retrain. The incident seems petty, but it caused me and my mother great strife and WE WILL NEVER EAT AT AN ARBY'S AGAIN! Why do away with something like Happy Hour if it works...to make more money off people like us!?! Retrain your management and...
Read moreFinally got to go back inside and eat at the Johnson City, Tn. Location... Gotta say, disappointed with our food.. My bun was old and roast beef was tough.. The menu had changed and no longer has the Turkey Swiss.... Not happy w employees wear hoody (on head).. We have become so afraid of offending workers that they will quit that they can dress anyway they want..This did not happen a few years ago.... Someone dropped off a toddler to wait for her Momma to get off shift.. I am thankful She is trying to work instead of living off the system but no 4ish yr old should be left on the floor to play at the drink machines, etc.. I kept watching her because I was afraid She may run out one of the doors.. We will have to consider...
