Walgreens — Local services in Johnson City

If I could leave zero stars for this pharmacy and pharmacist ( one of the female pharmacist name a known at the moment)I would but you have to leave at least one star in order to rate. For whatever reason Walgreens pharmacist tend to have such a problem with what their patients take and by that I mean a personal investment. They seem to take things personal and by that I mean when you have a prescription for say a sleeping medication they do not like to feel the entire month even when you offer to pay for the month they make you come back in over and over and over! Why is it any of their concern or business?!? It's like they get some kind of ego and puffed up about their job and maybe the money they make who knows but they take it a little too personally it's not like it's freaking fentanyl! Do not go to Walgreens if you can avoid it any of them! I realize they are like Dollar generals on every block but avoid them like the plague if you can because THE FEMALE PHARMACIST ACTUALLY JUST BOLD FACE LIED TO THE FOOD CITY PHARMACIST ABOUT THE NUMBER OF MY PILLS SHE FILLED BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT ME TO BE ABLE TO GET THE REST OF THEM!! SHE ACTUALLY TOLD HIM 30 WAS FILLED ON THE 8TH... THERE WAS 14 FILLED AND I HAVE THE BOTTLE TO PROVE...

I've heard so many horrible things about this Walgreens. I've never had the displeasure of actually dealing with the incompetence myself until today and yesterday. My friend used to get her prescription filled here. It's a controlled substance so a few would always come up missing straight from the pharmacy. When she said something about it then big chunks were taken from a few pills. I try to fill my mother's prescription and it's going to take an hour. Whatever OK. I tell to fill it I'll be back the next day. I come back it's now going to take thirty minutes. They had a full twenty four hours. I don't even see why they bother having a drive through if you always have to sit and wait no matter how long they had to fill it. I'm also picking up a controlled substance. Let's cross our fingers and hope they don't water down her morphine she needs to breathe and that her pain pills don't...

They refused to transfer my script for me just because it was an otc medication. My insurance pays for some otc meds, and they said they'd cover this one. But Walgreens refused to even try to transfer my script. I don't think you should treat people any differently just because they have tenncare. My insurance status shouldn't matter!! Your job is to fill prescriptions so you should fill them for anyone who asks as long as they are legal. Just because you don't think it's worth your time doesn't mean you shouldn't still do your job. The other pharmacy filled my script with no problem, and the insurance paid for it.
