The first impressions go a long way. Upon entering your notice the waitstaff seated at a corner table. They sit there on the phones waiting for the kitchen order up bell to ring. The host seated us and placed a cold basket of French bread and garlic cream cheese. For those of us that have true German roots, this would be served with dark rye toast, not French bread. The background music was 70s and 80s rock, not a real German vibe there. The Bavarian potato salad, that was supposed to resemble German potato salad looked more like soup than potato salad, and was missing bacon. The German red cabbage was not cooked with the traditional bacon, apples and vinegar. It was made with cinnamon and sugar with shredded red cabbage. The sandwich was seved with the tomato core intact, nasty. My grandchildren that are only 25% German know how to prepare more authentic dishes than this place. Save your money and dignity find a German cookbook and cook at home. It will be 100 times better than here.

No one to greet us when we arrived. Finally sat. Ordered an app- potato skins- ordered crunchy but they were soggy. For main course- I ordered bratwurst. They were good. Fries ordered crunchy- again no go. Either order chicken schnitzel- not pounded flat- too much like a chicken sandwich. Service was very pleasant. $70 for two people. Overall not worth our it.

If you love Freiberg's but not the hustle of downtown, their second location is just for you! The food is amazing, parking close and plentiful, and wait staff incredibly friendly. They also themed the interior just like their downtown location, so it still feels like home. 10/10 and will be switching back and forth between the two!

Our Bill for 4 people was $111.84. Chicken Schnitzel was so tough and dry. Two appetizers Potato Skins and Fried Cauliflower. Not bad, but not good either. Greasy Cauliflower and Potato Skins very dry. Thank goodness we got sauce (2) different types and still had to order extra and each one you order extra cost extra!!!!! My husband had the Jaeger Schnitzel and it was very tough and also the gravy that came on it was awful…..had no taste!!!!! Paid for more hoping it would taste better and make it more eatable, but it added nothing. Just cost me extra money to get more gravy. Let’s just say never again…..will we be going back and spending that much money for the most toughest and tasteless food we have ever had. It was our first time there and our last time there. Very disappointed and sad…..because we...
