I've been eating at this Hardee's for 6 yrs and I typically not around for lunch but breakfast like 4 to 5 mornings a week and dinner 2 to 4 evenings a week. . They've only messed my order once in 6 yrs and I believe the guy did it intentionally 2.5 yrs ago cause of my humor like when I'll ask at 830am if there serving breakfast yet or when ordering during the happy hour 2 - 5pm I'll order a Long Island tea with a rum & coke and the dear fellow somehow couldn't agree with the humor.. I got a lot of good to say about Hardee's and people like Amanda at this Hardee's help me keep things in correct perspective (she had open heart surgery a yr ago & return to work with no bitterness & still chuckles at my humor & hands me the order with the same big heart & smile). The chicken breakfast platter is a great choice & the owner & corporate still are serving it for under $5.. That's exceptional in price compared to any other drive thru restaurants in the area. Good serving sizes and I have yet to had to wait (burgers and fries I don't mind waiting since likely means fresh). Truth is McD's breakfast got old 25 yrs ago but even though I order that platter with a plain extra no butter biscuit every time -- it's not going to get old & burnt out at Hardee's cause that's the type & quality of breakfast food I was raised on and have cooked as an adult... All competition is serving frozen buscuits to include Pal's but the biscuit maker at every Hardee's arrives at 330am each day to make from scratch biscuits and gravy. . The 1/3 thick burger is one of best burgers & if i catch the time interval just right - when everything will be fresh on the burger then it's juicy & messy - extra napkins please. . Wendy's burger is simple & dear to me cause its patty is never frozen but the 1/3 thick can be easy 2nd & sometimes Hardee's 1/3 is Wendy's equal (that isn't iceburg on either but green leaf or romaine). While McD's gets more business than either that will continue to baffle me - none of McD's burgers are worth mentioning and esp. against Hardee's or Wendy's (love that they still honor Dave's signature charity for orphan & foster children). . . I get coupons for Hardee's in the mail typically each month & I greatly appreciate that consideration for their customers instead of not mailing coupons so that owners/operators will have largervrevenue stream for maybe more personal profit gain or maybe even more towards equipment, materials, & repairs, but, i think it's a healthy strategy -- it's considerate for sure. . Apparently the owner at this Hardee's makes sure no one is harassed or jerked around for using them and it's a big sheet of coupons. They've scaled back a bit over the last 1.5 yrs, but, truthfully, McD's mails out twice a yr & they're limited & now mainly Free drink w/order of sandwich & fries and not aware of any McD's in this area that provide a veterans or 1st responders & likewise etc 10% discount. When I'm out of my favor Hardee's coupons then I use my veteran's discount and again the owner apparently has no resentment providing the vet or responder discount cause I've never had an issue or harass asking for it to be applied. . . I only have one source of income, military service-connected disability compensation, and I know that the coupons & owner's discounts are not just a want but a need. . . I said I had a lot of good to say about Hardee's.... (BTW, the comments about rude service & workers. . I believe many times folks are misreading others body language. A lot people's facial & body expressions betray their kinder nature and it's thoughts.. i have porker expressions that are nearly void of any emotional demeanor -- people swear I'm mad or anger at times when that simply is not true at all..... Read moreI've had a shift leader cuss me out because I came back with a huge order that was wrong and management justified the actions of the shift leader because I defended myself and the same shift leader saw me in drive thru made it a point to go back to where my food was being made and had an employee watch out for him and when I asked said employee what was going on and if my food was being tampered with he just grinned and never said "no he's not messing with your food" or anything to take up for the shift leader but only grinned and kept looking back at my food and at me as if being a lookout. I had already paid for my food and asked for a refund and was looked at at that point like a deer in headlights. So to keep from wasting more of my time I just said I'll feed it to my dogs but I threw it away afraid of making my dogs sick. When the manager was informed and asked to watch the cameras for foul play he said that the shift leader would never do that and treated me like a liar. I had 2 other people with me as witnesses to what had happened and I told the manager that he said if I wasn't happy to drive 2.7 miles down the road and go to that Hardee's. It's truly a shame things like this go on in a place I'm supposed to trust. I go to this same Hardee's 3-7 days a week ordering a lot of food and I have never had a problem with any other employee except the shift leader and the store manager who acts like his shift leader makes no mistakes. Makes me wonder what kinda dirt the shift leader has on the store manager for him to allow stuff like this to happen. And one other thing Stop calling me honey, sweetheart, or any other pet name the store manager calls me when I come through. Please respect me and call me ma'am or miss and show some respect! Read moreI usually don't go to this particular Hardee's because more often then knot my order is wrong, But I was so hungry I went to the drive thru trying to keep an open mind. I was told it would take extra time for the onion rings okay i get it no problem well 6 minutes later she brings the food I ask for salt and ketchup she got an attitude bigger than Texas ok whatever at over 8 dollars I want salt and ketchup no rolling eyes. So i grab an onion rings going down the road and it's cold not even warm COLD not happy so when i get home and open my burger oh my goodness if the grill is broken tell us cause non grilled sour dough bread with oil its soggy cant even pick it up what a mess train your employees and your manager. Out of the 5 times I've been the order is close to 10 and the food cold or not right. Unhappy doesnt even cover...
