Today was our first time at Jersey Mike's, the customer beside us was telling the employee what she wanted on her sub and mentioned that they are supposed to use a different slicer for different types of meats or clean the slicer between cutting different meats and cheeses, so they don't cross contaminate, she was not being loud or disrespectful. He responded by telling her he knew his job, then asked her if she wanted to come back there and make it herself. My wife and I were stunned at this behavior and felt horrible for the elderly lady who actually does work in a deli and knows the rules. Maybe if he understood why God gave him one mouth and two ears, he would actually know something vs thinking he does. We couldn't see a name tag, which would be helpful if they cared about customers who have an issue to know who they are referring to when filing a complaint. NGL The prices are pretty steep. For 4 sandwiches (3 regulars and one mini), 4 20oz bottled drinks (and they have Pepsi, not coke 😝) , and 4 bags of chips was just shy of $60.
