Classic Express Cafe — Restaurant in Johnston

A millenial Johnston resident here. It was alright. It has a cool adult vibe but I still find the layout of the building very strange. The steak and cheese sandwich was good but I really wanted to work there on my laptop as I am a digital nomad and I just couldn't! I asked the guy and he said all the information to connect to WiFi is on a printout outside. I couldn't find the name of the wifi network that the printout said it should have been after of 20 minutes of trying on my devices. I can't work without wifi. Sad, I had to go somewhere else to another coffee shop. Not sure if I would be back but the food was good. Needs some art or green or colorful flowers. Staff are very nice. Menu is coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, ice cream. The layout is the most bizarre I’ve seen. Outdoor covered picnic tables, a semi-covered outdoor area, and then random furniture in a garage-like area which is attached to what is essentially a show room for the adjacent business. The black and red exterior does not give a cafe (or ice cream) vibe. Will definitely be back to check out their food offerings. Will and Gabriella Classic Café are very down to earth in great people Greg the owner of classic express Café has hired the two best people I have ever met and will ever probably meet at this establishment. I have never went to a Dunkin went to a honeydew went to a Starbucks and experienced what I have had experienced here.
