A millenial Johnston resident here. It was alright. It has a cool adult vibe but I still find the layout of the building very strange. The steak and cheese sandwich was good but I really wanted to work there on my laptop as I am a digital nomad and I just couldn't! I asked the guy and he said all the information to connect to WiFi is on a printout outside. I couldn't find the name of the wifi network that the printout said it should have been after of 20 minutes of trying on my devices. I can't work without wifi. Sad, I had to go somewhere else to another coffee shop. Not sure if I would be back but the food was good. Needs some art or green or colorful flowers. Outdoor covered picnic tables, a semi-covered outdoor area, and then random furniture in a garage-like area which is attached to what is essentially a show room for the adjacent business. The black and red exterior does not give a cafe (or ice cream) vibe. Will definitely be back to check out their food offerings.
