Strings Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Johnston

Strings is the friendly, almost well-lit, clean and casual watering hole with vibe that I want to walk into after work or on a night out. Stephanie and Kevin are great hosts, the liquor and beer selection is high-end, and the kitchen puts out 5-star offerings at cheap date prices. Seriously, the food is excellent, and I've got some years in the restaurant business- these people have a good thing working.

The live music scene is vibrant at Strings, with some really fine artists, and acoustic and electric combos bringing groovy sounds nightly. They like organic musicianship and professionalism at Strings, and that's what you get.

I'd recommend Strings as a top contender for the local dining out and entertainment scene, and as a fine location for a first date- which is about as good a recommendation as I can probably make! No need to...

We had my boyfriend's 40th birthday at Strings this September and it was one of the best times we have had. Stephanie did an amazing job decorating and taking care of the whole setup under the tent; with the band playing that night it made for a wonderful evening and even though it was busy the girls did a wonderful job taking care of all of us and making sure we were satisfied. Food was ok . prices high , service awful ... Came to hear live music with 3 other ppl and we ordered apps then dinner then my buddy added a meal . We were informed by our waitress that the "chef" said if we are going to order more food to do it now and all at once this is at 7pm not close to close at all . I wont be back .
