Strings is the friendly, almost well-lit, clean and casual watering hole with vibe that I want to walk into after work or on a night out. Stephanie and Kevin are great hosts, the liquor and beer selection is high-end, and the kitchen puts out 5-star offerings at cheap date prices. Seriously, the food is excellent, and I've got some years in the restaurant business- these people have a good thing working.

The live music scene is vibrant at Strings, with some really fine artists, and acoustic and electric combos bringing groovy sounds nightly. They like organic musicianship and professionalism at Strings, and that's what you get.

I'd recommend Strings as a top contender for the local dining out and entertainment scene, and as a fine location for a first date- which is about as good a recommendation as I can probably make! No need to thank me, lol.
