Im a Sr.. w/disabilities & all I wanted was a $2.50 cup of coffee. Never been in there before to understand their menu as comex as it is or how expensive they are. The scribble on boards was to high over my head & to small for me to see clearly on the multiple boards they have displayed. By time i was rung up they wanted to charge me $3.56. I didn't see on menu where it said to get flavoring in it was $1.00 + more? I wasn't looking for cost of syrup additive cus I didn't want syrup. Sheetz sells coffer of all flavors outta the coffee pot w/out charging extra for it. I didnt get what I wanted, we obviously misunderstood each other & when I said forget it & walked out upset I couldn't get a cup of coffee? I was chased out the door & threatened w/the cops. Told me i just cost him $4.00? Fine. Call the cops cus I would of pressed charges on them for verbal assult? How did a cup of coffee go from $2.50 - $3.56 to $4.00? His product they made wasn't what I expected? Medically speaking the extra syrup would of made me physicaly sick. Then price changed from what I expected. I was so scared of this guy I wanted the cops there to point I threw the money at him w/out wanting the coffee. He obviously cared more bout the money then returned business from a new customer. If he needs the money that bad? Fine take it but that's all he would ever get out of me again. Hope he's proud of himself for bullying a Sr.w/disabilities. I will never step foot in that place again. Their prices are way to high for what you get & I will definatly see to it all I know & care about know what...
Read moreI called the bakery in the morning to see if they had rye bread available. The woman who answered the phone said that they make homemade, fresh bread on a daily basis. When I arrived with my husband to the bakery we ordered the rye bread with 2 coffees. An elderly lady brought out the coffees in paper cups. I asked her if I could, please, have a ceramic cup twice , since I wanted to drink my coffee at the table. She looked at me in a confused, not understanding manner. I pointed to a tray that was filled with ceramic cups. She just looked at me and walked away. I didn’t want to disturb her again so I took a cup closest to me. Immediately, a very angry employee ( female with glasses) , jumped out and roared at me for taking a cup. I tried to explain to her what happened but she completely ignored me. She conducted herself in a very abrasive and unprofessional level. Since there were other patrons in the coffee shop witnessing her outrage, i didn’t want to escalate things. My husband and I drank our coffee quietly. We are out of town visitors who love to explore and try new things and support local businesses. Being a huge bread lover I got very excited when I read that this place offers artisan bread. When I received the rye bread it was neither freshly made nor artisan. It came cold in plastic bag, refrigerated. The man who sliced it up was pleasant and courteous. I didn’t want to mention or write any negative review if it wasn’t for the poor customer service. Thank you and I appreciate your time for...
Read moreGreat place to enjoy a nice morning coffee. They have excellent Cinnamon rolls and have a wide variety of coffee flavors including Butter beer which I thought was quite novel. They have lots of baked goods, salads, and sandwiches. I look forward to trying some of those and sharing in a later update. The Cinnamon roll I had was slightly crunchy on the outside and soft and gooey cinnamon on the inside with a really nice frosting. It was not too sweet, but perfectly balanced for a nice pickup in the morning. The Staff was friendly and the food was delivered to my table for me and served on a beautifully styled plate. The whole coffee shop is very well decorated with lots of solid chairs and tables. The coffee shop is super inviting for a morning breakfast, lunch, or a coffee break. Lots of stuff to look at and talk about with friends visiting with you to spark up conversation! Thank you for a great visit and a nice...
