I had to get on here to give credit where credit is due. I went last night feb 28, 2025. The server was EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING, GENEROUS, etc. all of the words you can think of. That was her. I’m a young mother and so is she and she and her son deserve the world for how she treated my boyfriend and I. As for the place. Drinks? They were good. And Strong. And Pricey. Sushi? Fire. I ordered a fried and my boyfriend ordered raw and a cali roll. Suuuper good. Decent priced for the sizes. Lastly, the hibachi. They got our order sent to a wrong table so we had to wait longer but our waitress compensated us with free wontons. But the HIBACHI?? If I could’ve sent it back I would’ve. I didn’t order my steak rare. It came out mooing even though it was cut into pieces. My boyfriend’s chicken was tough (over done) and we are rice fanatics. Trash. $16 for a steak hibachi isn’t a bad price. But when the smallest portion of raw steak, a few veggies, and a half of a cup of “fried rice” (really just white rice) come to your table, I was shocked. DONTTTT eat the hibachi. But def could go here for a quick sushi date. The place was really cute! They had some Japanese culture decorations up. It was nice and clean. They also had teas and smoothies and slushies! I’d def go back to try a drink and get some good customer service or even a roll. But we prob won’t be going back for...
Read moreThe drinks- matcha latte and taro milk tea with boba ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The sushi- pink lady, spicy (not spicy) tuna, tuna, and another roll that we forgot the name of but was Also tuna... Not great. I forgot we were in a landlocked state. I'd try the hibachi next time I went. The drinks alone were So good. Super refreshing for a hot day and mixed just right. The atmosphere- the place was decorated nicely and the music was the right volume for conversation. We were the only customers in the place. It was a little on the warm side and they had several fans going but when we sat down at a table they stopped the fan so it just got warmer... The service wasn't Overly friendly. The cashier took our order, we sat, they delivered food and we ate. Great place for introverts who don't care for the chat and small talk that often comes with eating out. Photo of the spicy tuna (right) and the tuna rolls (left) The plates had ginger and wasabi and the table had soy sauce but no dish for it. The chop sticks provided...
Read moreI've been sleeping on this place! I have whined for a couple of years now about how it's hard to find udon in Jonesboro. I was looking around on DoorDash for ideas & found that they have udon soup AND yaki (stir fried) udon! I ordered the chicken udon soup and a lychee tea with mango popping boba. The soup broth was light & fresh, the chicken was tender, & the noodles were cooked perfectly: not too firm or too soft. The lychee tea was a refreshing surprise! I'd never had it before. There were lots of fresh fruit slices and it was delightfully tart. It has almost a floral quality which at first tasted odd, but grew on me by the 2nd drink. My son got the hibachi chicken & pronounced it good. He ranked the fried rice "okay." There was something about the seasoning that wasn't his favorite. I will happily order again & maybe next time head to the restaurant. Definitely going for the large fruit...
