Delivery: Order confirmed @ 12:25 and received food @ 1:00, From the JC restruant to the TOP of Riley hill. Think its pretty fast covering the distance, posted speed limit and additional checkpoint.
Food Temperature: You should have an idea about the Temperature if your delivery has to cross so much ground. +30mins you should not expect food to be extremely hot. My food was warm but you can tell it was getting cold along the ride. My food was in a sturdy brown paper bag with a MOUNTAIN FOLD on top plus staples. If you don't know, that extra fold can help keep the heat inside the bag and keep your food warmer.
Quality of Food: I had ordered LoMein, General Tso Chicken and Brocoli & Beef from the ALL DAY MENU. I should have remembered those are plates themselves because i got rice for each plate haha. No worries extra food for tomorrow. [RICE] was plain since I did not ask for anything extra. I would definitely add any sauce to the rice.[CHICKEN] was chewable, nothing crazy, sauce was good but nothing that would blow your socks off. [LO_MEIN]had no flavor as well so I would highly recommend throwing some sauce on there haha. [BROCCOLI&BEEF] The broccoli was great, def was packing that juice and was chewable with hint of crunch. The beef was chewable, flavor was a bit dull if I can best describe it but hey still edible.
Notes: Online Cart, when adding items to carts it costs you $1 to remove rice from the main meal lol maybe they never changed their settings or its defaults.
I assumed I wouldn't get no sauces, utensils, napkins. I only ordered 4 soy sauce packets. Interestingly I got 2 separate baggies with equal contents( 1 soy sauce, 1 duck sauce, 1 fork, 1 fortune cookie). I then got 14 soy sauces and 4 duck sauce extra lol no complaints i'm ready for the soy sauce pandemic.
Cons: I like that they tried enforcing the paperbag with sturdy cardboard showing they care about your items. Sadly either the weight of 3 plates squished the bottom or the food was so hot that it melted through the plastic. Nevertheless, the sturdy paper bag prevented leakage outside.
Suggestioms: Possibly having a heat insulation bag for the delivery driver to keep food warmer. If already has nevermind lol thanks scientists for microwaves.
Additionally, improving the sites layout would be beneficial.
Overall, im full, satisfied I didn't cook and await...
Read moreI do not negatively review a food establishment after one bad encounter. I wanted to like this place. But I can't. If I could remove the last star I would.
BLUF: They will bring you old, unpalatable food and get angry if you address the substandard meal.
The first time I ordered, it was alright. The food was ordinary. Based on the reviews, I thought it would be great. It's generic. When I called and mentioned this, I was met with a nasty attitude and, pretty much, blown off.
The second time, it was subpar. It seemed as of it was microwaved. It was dry. It was as if it had been sitting under a heater all day.
This last time, recently, I ordered General Tso's chicken, vegetable fried rice, beef and broccoli, and spring rolls. It was just under $28 and I tipped. Again, it was bad. This time, not only was it hard and old tasting, it smelled badly. My home smelled from the food but not the way good food smells. It smelled as if I had a kitchen trash can that needed to be taken out.
Before this last purchase, another person I know ordered a meal and had it delivered. Everyone that ate it said it was bad. They tried each other's food in case it was just them. I stood there as they commented. I, also, stood there when they contacted the establishment and were met with attitude, bad service, and a raised voice from the other end of the line.
All I wanted was what I paid for. What I got was disappointment.
I would not suggest this establishment...
Read moreHorrible experience! Customer service poor! food poor! I will never eat there again!! I have given Jin Jin many chances just to fail everytime.“Worst Chinese Food." There are quite a few bad restaurants in junction city, but this one takes the prize. We ate here awhile back and the food was not great, but we decided to give it a second chance. I wish we hadn't. The food came out slow from the kitchen, I would rather eat at Panda Express. The difference is, Panda Express is actually edible. The food was already cold when it came out. After waiting for the waitress to return (we were basically the only people in there at the time) she reluctantly took the food back to be heated up, although she debated the fact that it was cold. After they nuked it in a microwave, it was somewhat hotter but still not edible. The chow mein noodles were chewy, like they had been sitting around a long time. Likewise, the chicken curry was not good. We did not eat our food, because it was far worse than a frozen dinner from the supermarket. When we tried to say something about it the they did nothing to help. That explains a lot. At that point, we got up and left. Neither of us is extremely fussy about food, but we want something decent, without getting sick afterward. This place is one of the worst restaurants...
