We ordered the chicken sandwich (chicken tenders, lettuce, tomatoe, onion, mayo and a large serving of fries) it was tasty the fries were good and the sandwich hit the spot. Only improvement would be ditch the tenders and fry up a single chicken filet. And the auke bay club. Same results. Tasty sammich and large portion of delicious fries. Cook don't change a thing. Lastly we ordered a strawberry milkshake..... This is where it takes a turn. We were the 3rd of three groups in the restaurant, ordered and received our number to take to our table. We sat at a very dirty table surrounded by other dirty tables. 1 girls whole job appeared to be delivering sodas (which could easily be handed at the counter) and the other spent 10 minutes filling the water container then proceeded to take a long lunch break and managed to recieve her food before any of the paying customers. The last young lady was apparently running the show, doing amazing. With this lack of effort the lunch rush came in and swamped them, ending our lunch without receiving the milkshake and watching numerous patrons not receive food in a timely manner as the girls rushed to clean tables and spent most of the time asking each table what food they ordered (making the number system fairly useless) and turning to the one girl to make milkshakes and scoop icecream. Tighten up the service a little bit and you have yourself a fantastic diner stop with decent food at a decent price....

It’s pretty sad when I take my husband here for the first time, I talked it up saying the milkshakes are so good and come with little donuts and cherrys and chocolate sprinkles, I’m pregnant so I thought it sounded good on the way home… the kid working had the worst attitude. We tipped him $5 on two milkshakes and he still acted like he was bothered we ordered something he had to make. We were the only ones in there. He took over 5 minutes figuring out how to turn on the blender, then couldn’t find the whip cream so he was wandering around really slow while the milkshakes are melting, then he pops the lids on finally and goes to hand them to us. I said “oh what about the little donuts?” And he got an attitude and said “you didn’t ask” …well we ordered milkshakes and on the menu it comes like that, didn’t figure we needed to ask for how it came. He got the donuts on there but nothing else how it says on menu. He was clearly not happy about having to work. Disappointed in the customer service here almost every time - it sucks because the food is actually alright. But we’ll be taking our business...

First off, I’d like to say that I don’t like ragging on local businesses so I’ll start with the positives. Staff was very polite and helpful. The food is decent and not outrageously expensive as is common in Juneau. The view out across Auke Bay harbor is world class, of course.

However, every time I’ve come into this place to pick up my food I’ve noticed the state of the floors. Today I finally dined in and, while waiting for my food I was left with nothing to do but study the accumulated grime in the cafe.

Please, sweep your floors more often. Food from previous diners was everywhere on the floor. It doesn’t look like there’s been a proper mop job in months. Grime has accumulated around table legs and at the foot of booths. Black spots that are easily removed by scuffing them with a shoe are all too common. The floor has a noticeable texture when you walk across it.

Smudges of meals gone by can be seen on walls and other surfaces as well.

The sit down and pick up experience could be improved remarkably by some...

Well, the girl who ran us up, I could tell was nervous so guessing new. But the other girl was really no help. Weren't necessarily rude but not helpful. Then it took a long time , 20+ minutes to get my food, French dip. Not given fries for $12.95 a very small, not toasted bun with barely warm meat bits not meat but bits. Then told if I wanted fries that is extra. Only redeeming thing is the atmosphere, cool art and great views, nice and quiet. Didn't even want to finish this small sandwich. I don't think I'll be going back there. See why it was pretty empty. The honey packet is there for size comparison. That's the half untoasted bun n bits. My sister enjoyed her ice cream. Oh and it took both workers a few minutes to figure out a simple Chai drink with non dairy alternative drink order.

Unassuming cozy spot with killer views across the street. The 2 girls who assisted us yesterday morning were pleasant and helpful. Dare I say this is the best omelet I've had yet? I ordered the veggie omelet and I'd recommend go on a long hike first or bring 2 other friends to share it with. Perfectly flavored with a slight kick of spice. I ordered a side of breakfast sausage (sorry, I'm not vegan) and milkshake. Both were awesome compliments. The mini donut on the milkshake was a cute touch. If you ever visit Juneau, drive out a bit further from downtown and visit this local spot in Auke Bay. I'll definitely come back. .

Took 20 minutes to get an order taken when there was only two people in front of us because they were so disorganized. Ordered ham & cheese waffle. Bland. Ham rubbery, unseasoned. The cheese is an afterthought placed & top and congealed. Salsa just from a jar & was the only flavor. Sausage was bland and super chewy. Ordered husband a milkshake, it never came during the whole meal and we had to hunt them down to get it. Won’t be coming back, was not worth the $30+ to eat here.
