Last night my girlfriend stopped by happy's pizza to pick up a cheese pizza to stay in for the night. when she handed her card over to pay the girl, who had fake nails extending 2-3 inches off the tips, the girl swipe the card like it was a race to test the machine. instead of waiting for the transaction to process she swipe the card again, then a third time. each time the girl said that the transaction was declined. my girlfriend checked the account balance and saw that there wasn't an issue. the girl typed in the card information and again it was declined. my girlfriend used the card less than an hour before at redbox and another store with no issues. the girl had an attitude about the card not working and tossed the pizza in the trash in front of her before saying sorry with a condescending tone. the next morning my girlfriend called her bank and they said the account was frozen due to cashier error, trying to run the card four times without letting the processing finish. my girlfriend called Happy's pizza to let them know and the same girl was working this morning and blamed the card for the error. if shes such and expert at running cards and credit why is she working behind a counter in a ghetto pizza hut? needless to say the service is lacking and even when you let them know what they are doing wrong, which only loses them money, they get defensive and argue with the customer losing more business in the end. I won't be going there ever again for two reasons: 1 poor service and 2 how does that girl wipe her ass with nails like that? i hope she doesn't handle the food. not up to code, i know i was a line...
Read moreI ordered a pizza and two kinds of wings a few weeks ago at the Kalamazoo location. When I got home I discovered the pizza had pepperoni on it instead of sausage. I ordered buffalo wings but received some other flavor I didn't like. I called to let them know the order was wrong and was told I would have a credit for the next time I ordered. Tonight I called to order pizza and wings. I was told there was only a credit for the pizza. I stated that I should have a credit for the wings, too, as my whole order had been made incorrectly. I asked if I could speak with a manager. The man on the phone stated his name was Gabe and he is the manager. He refused to give me an order of wings and clearly had no interest in making up for the previous mistakes. I told him I thought that was poor customer service as I had been promised a credit for my entire order. At this time he stated, "you're rude. I'm not going to make a pizza for you." If I had been yelling and using profanity I would think that would be a justifiable statement. I wasn't speaking to him in that manner. I was upset, understandably, and not nice at that point because his customer service skills were unacceptable. He told me to "call corporate." I told him I would be leaving a negative review and he stated, "go ahead." Obviously I will never spend money in this establishment again. Read moreThis is the third time I have placed an order for delivery, living less than 5 miles away, that it has been over an hour and a half for delivery. We called shortly after the order was placed to make sure they had power and were told we were the only order they have had today and that their driver would be back in 30 minutes from lunch and they would make the food in about 25 minutes so that it wasn't sitting. That was at 2:33. We called back at 4 and the guy said he didn't have a driver so the food was going to be done in about 6-7 minutes and he would send it out after. I'm willing to be understanding but waiting for over 2 hours for an order is absolutely ridiculous and putting the responsibility on the customer to call to get any communication about why is even worse. I love the food and all but this being the third experience is making this feel like my last time ordering from Happy's which is truly disappointing to our family. A courtesy call goes a long way and all they had to say was sorry but we can't deliver right now and are carryout only.
