Visited this establishment recently, last time I was here it was called Firehouse. The Library has a really small dance floor, the lady bartenders are rude, you decided that you want to be a bartender then dal with the rush. I work in the restaurant business too so I am quite aware of having to deal with a large number of orders. I wasn't rude nor yelled, I asked for some drinks and the bartender told me not to yell at her, I think she meant that I should wait until she acknowledges me, sometimes if one stands there and say nothing they overlook you and so from that she made snark comments. I changed to a different bar and found a similar attitude. They move extremely slow and do not seem aware that they are providing a service that requires a sense of urgency. She was building rapport with a customer, great but don't take too long with that now, they were not flirting just talking. If these bartenders operated with a sense of urgency so much more drinks would be sold and they would make much more in tips. I would have tipped her $5 on my $12 bill if I had better,...
Read moreThis may be a COVID-19 gem of a find. I didn't know about them pre-covid. Got their lake perch basket with tater tots. It's difficult to beat lake perch done right and theirs was wonderful. The fillets were large, plentiful and flaky. The tots were golden brown. The staff was friendly. To top it off, everything was half off on Saturdays. If I had to give a couple of minor criticisms, it could have used a larger or another cup of tartar sauce. It wasn't enough for the quantity of fish. The other would be that getting through on their phone line to place an order is really difficult. It either rings and no one picks up or it's busy. I didn't see where you could place an order directly from the website. That said, I plan to revisit this...
