This was my first time ordering from here. It was a nightmare. I ordered 3 items, I only received 1 that I ordered. I inquired if a substitution could be made on a specific item and said thank you but for now I would like sweet n sour chicken, egg foo young and shrimp fried rice. She stated that it would be extra for the fried rice as the chicken comes with white rice. I said just send the white rice and add an order of fried rice. I want both. She said OK. When I received my order she sent the item I inquired about which was honey walnut chicken and 2 containers of white rice. I opened the next container and it had moo goo gai pan (chicken and veggies in light sauce ) and NO container of sweet and sour chicken. SO I CALL... I start to tell the woman ( Foreigner) that I received the wrong order. She hands the phone to the woman who took my order. I explained what has happened. She get extremely angry and tells me I'm wrong. I try to explain where she made the mistake and she gets irrate. She yells at me that the egg foo young is under the chicken and veggies. And that I didn't order sweet and sour chicken or fried rice. Here's the thing, I wear dentures and they're loose. I can't eat anything hard. So the container of chicken with a huge amount of walnuts I could never eat. And the so called egg foo young, I couldn't eat either (rock hard veggies). The chicken and walnuts cost $14.50. Which I didn't order. I asked if they could fix this she said she would have to charge me for my sweet n sour and fried rice. (she still yelling at me) I'm like wait a minute you sent me this expensive item I didn't order and want me to pay you more to get the stuff I did order. My 3 items I wanted came up to the same price as the 2 items she sent me. She didn't fix anything. I didn't get my order. And BTW I had to cook the veggies and chicken that were on top of the egg foo young. It was the 2nd worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I do not recommend...
Read moreWOW!!! I called and was put on hold twice before someone actually answered it and helped me.. I hung up after waiting 5 minutes each time.. then the lady on the phone said they were out of walnut for the shrimp with walnuts that I wanted so I asked if they could use cashews and do the same thing, she said yes but clearly did not understand what I was asking for.. I ordered chicken chow mein which comes with crunchy noodles.. when I picked it up I was expecting the restaurant to be absolutely hammered, but it had 3 full tables.. must be getting slammed on the phones.. either way I am staying at a hotel because our house is torn apart and we have no kitchen to cook in, so I was banking on this meal tonight.. 40 dollars and I left a 4 dollar tip and I get back and there are no crunchy noodles for the chow mein, and the shrimp meal is cashew shrimp.. which is VERY DIFFERENT from the walnut shrimp recipe.. absolutely not what I wanted at all.. I called to get them to make it right somehow and they again put me on hold twice before they got to me, and said “well why don’t we make it up to you next time.. because we are an hour and a half out on deliveries” I said no.. you can refund me.. “no we can’t do that there is no manager here” then proceeds to put me on hold to talk to someone and comes back saying she’s talking to the owner and the cashew shrimp doesn’t come with noodles… I KNOW THAT THAT IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED.. the cashew shrimp wasn’t even what I wanted.. and the noodles for the chow mein aren’t here… she has no clue.. so they asked for my number and said they’d call me back… I’m not normally one to get frustrated with food service because I have worked in service my entire life but this was a terrible experience.. update: after calling back multiple times the lady finally issued me a refund of all but one thing.. which was the only satisfactory thing in the order… I appreciate the refund but I still...
Read moreOur food was so delicious!! I've been continuously disappointed with Chinese food in the valley...to the point that I was completely turned off by it. We'd overpay for food that was bland, or tasted like it had been sitting in a warming bin all day, and oftentimes would leave us feeling sick. My boyfriend really wanted Chinese food today, so I said we could give Chinatown a try. We live on the complete opposite side of town, so that's why we hadn't tried them before. We ordered 2 of their quick lunch specials (Szechuan chicken and Mongolian beef) and egg rolls for delivery. They said it would take about an hour. Our food was delivered in about 45 minutes by a friendly lady. The food was still piping hot and was so delicious!! The ingredients were fresh and the seasonings were on point...not bland at all, but not so overpowers that you couldn't taste the actual ingredients. Kudos to the cooks!! And to sweeten the experience even more, the price was very affordable. We ordered from a different place a month or so ago and it was $75 for 2 meals plus egg rolls...and the food was bland and disgusting. Today we paid less than half that, and everything was perfect! Plus we got more food! Each meal came with a crab wonton, rice, and soup, and we also ordered 4 egg rolls. This is definitely the only Chinese restaurant that we will be eating at in the Flathead from now on!! Thank you so much for such a great experience!! Keep up...
