The River Coffee Company — Restaurant in Kalispell

The other day a group of friends and I decided to give the River Coffee Company a try for our weekly hang out. Man am I glad we did! I didn't realize this awesome shop existed until I saw their billboard sign pointing the way. When you first roll up to River C C you notice the big sign and the welcoming esthetics of the place. For me it is attached with some nostalgia, because when I was a kid this building housed the local movie cinema. :) As you walk in your realize right away that the place is COMFORTABLE. There are many comfy chairs place all throughout the vast seating area. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And now to the reason I came in... the coffee. I ordered your standard mocha latte and they nailed it. The coffee was delicious. Among my group we had fraps, non fat iced mocha, tea, and the gambit! All were done quickly and tasted delicious. Or so said my friends. They have a little room that small parties can enter to have some privacy and we really appreciated it! There are many coffee shops in Kalispell but this is by far my favorite. The hours are from 5pm to 11pm, which stinks if you want morning coffee, BUT they are the only gig in town that is open that late. Some of the baristas were amazing and the drinks/food were great, but let me fore warn you. This coffee shop and more importantly church attached has a major clickish attitude and if they deem you not worth their time, they will treat you as the dirt of the earth and contempt. I tipped most times on everything, and I will tell you I am a Pentecostal Pastor from Denver as well. And thats why I am relaying this to the staff and more importantly the owner. And for that very reason, while we have been in town, I will not go to church here. They are a Fantastic Coffee Shop with amazing Coffee girls that will take the extra step to make the Coffee you want , With awesome hours open from 5pm to 11pm Their tucked back in just off of Hwy 2 or Idaho , Look for the Big Gateway West Mall sign turn in there and they are right there on the left with plenty of room to pull in with a Pick-up towing a Camper or any OTR Tractor-Trailer Semi with tons of Parking and plenty of room to swing a U-turn and be back on the road fantastic for anyone working late and wanting a Great cup of Coffee to help keep you going through the...
