McDonald's — Restaurant in Kalkaska Township

We went through the drive through around 9:00pm tonight. I ordered an M&M McFlurry and my boyfriend ordered an Oreo McFlurry with hot fudge mixed in. The kid at the drive through was nice and courteous. We got to the window and paid, then moved on to the 2nd window to pick up. The older woman got my boyfriends McFlurry out first and it had the hot fudge on the top and not mixed in. He got the woman's attention and told said, "Excuse me ma'am, the hot fudge is on top, and it was supposed to be mixed in." She looked at him, roller her eyes, snatched the cup from him and proceeded to the back where we couldn't see her. The kid that was at the window with her looked back as if to look at her (like she was telling him something) and turned back to what he was doing. Then, she didn't even come back out to give him the cup back. She gave it to the kid to give to us. We weren't rude to her, we didn't throw a fit, we just wanted it the way we ordered it. This place really went down hill after the remodel.. i just had the pleasure of dealing with Susie, who was giving me dirty looks the second I walked through through the door. I then went to the register and saw her walk by numerous times without even acknowledging me, after about 7 minutes of standing at the register, she walked up giving me again a dirty look, doesn't say anything for a minute of silence then said "what do you want". I gotta she is so bad at that job and should definitely not be in customer service. I ordered an ice cream cone and paid her the money all the while she gave me additude the entire time, seemingly mad that I wanted to buy food from a place that sells food, absolutely mind blowing. After paying my money she then says my ice cream will be served in a cup I again told her I wanted a cone she said no the ice cream is too soft for a cone. I took my money back and went to Burger King and got an ice cream cone with ease and the burger king employees were kind and inviting, im just gonna go there from here on out. I feel bad for the owner of this mcdonalds these bad workers are really ruining...

Food is standard and nothing wrong with the quality compared to other McDonald's. However the operation of the location is terrible lately. The last 3 months I have ordered from this location and the mancelona location. If you asked me which I preferred in the past, I would have picked kalkaska because even though the food was similiar in quality, this location seemed to handle the heavy demand of lunch better. Not the case anymore. I have ordered breakfast, lunch and dinner from this location and I would say out of a sample size of 10 visits about 7 to 8 of those visits resulted in receiving the wrong order or missing items from the order. I'm starting to get the impression that I'm better off acquiring the taste of char broiled burgers or god forbid get the same haphazard service from the nearby taco bell. If you eat here, the 1 minute bag check is mandatory and I wouldn't blame you for sitting parked until you verified your order was correct and hold...
