My husband and I recently went to this restaurant for the first time while we were traveling. We were very excited about it as we had read really good reviews on it. When we got there, the hostess happily greeted us and took us to our table, which was surrounded by cute decorations, and our waitress was very friendly, we were excited about being here. However, when we got our food, I had asked for an extra plate because we were sharing something and when they brought the long oval plate to me, I noticed it was severely, and I mean severely, scratched up, but then I noticed something was stuck to the plate. It appeared to be dried food, which apparently belonged to someone else and it didn’t get come off when they washed it , and so I was going to ask for another plate. But, when I looked down at my plate, the one with my food on it, I saw it had more stuck to the plate on both the right side and the left side of it and I didn’t want to keep that one either. I did scrape some of the dried food off, but very politely asked the hostess if she could bring me another plate and explained to her why. She took the plate and was gone for a long time, but returned with a very clean, round plate, which was different from the other plates my husband and I were served on. However, it was clean, and there was no food stuck on it, and so I gladly removed my food from my original plate and put it on this plate. It was our first time there, and it seemed like a very nice place, but that was not a positive1st experience for us. My husband did seem to enjoy the pumpkin French toast, and I would say our food was probably a three, but maybe what I went through was just a fluke. By the time we left, the place was really crowded and it looks like it’s a popular...

There I was, cold as hell looking to fill up with a hearty breakfast. I sit down with my friends and family and order an omelette with andouille sausage, hash browns, and a coffee. Three people wanted coffee and we were brought two mugs. I raise my hand to grab the attention of a waiter, and was met with a confused stare like he was surprised someone needed something. He slowly walked towards our table and finally took my request.

The food comes out. Omelette looks off, like someone tried to make scrambled eggs and decided to make an omelette last minute. As I start eating I’m thinking I must have ordered the wrong thing because I couldn’t find any sausage. About halfway through I find what looks like a sliced piece of sausage. Imagine a slice the size of a quarter coin cut in half. There were about four of these pieces in, which made me think the profit margins for this omelette must have been pretty high. What can I say about the hash browns other than that they were soggy and greasy.

I was left with a feeling of anger and sadness. Anger that I could have made a better breakfast at home. Sadness of realizing there wasn’t a good breakfast place within a reasonable distance from my home.

The inside looked...

I had an online order that emailed me to pick up at 10:44 am. W I walked in at 10:49. I greeted the waitress who was looking down at the register with a " Hello ". She stated, "yes?". I said, I have to go order for Linda Lockett. The waitress turned around and looked behind her to the bagged order on the shelf, and said, it must not ready be ready yet and she and the other waitress that was standing behind her left. I stepped to the side and waited. I noticed a couple of waitress come to the register then leave. No new bagged order came out. After 10 minutes a waiter came to the register ( without a new bagged order). I approved him to ask how long my order for Linda Lockett, would be. He turned to the shelf looked at the order that was sitting when I first came in and said, "oh here is your order". Disappointed, I said I told the other waitress I was there 10 minutes ago to get a pickup oder and she looked at it and said my oder was not ready, but it was. He said well I don't know why she said that, I was not here, but here you go. And then he left. $37.00 for cold food sitting from service that did not seem to be bothered to...

Yesterday was our first time eating at Caleb's Breakfast and Lunch and we both really enjoyed it. The inside has a mixture of booth and table seating and their large front window provided lots of natural light throughout the restaurant. I ordered the Ronnie's french toast and my husband ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken breakfast, it came out timely and we both enjoyed our meal! The restaurant was pretty busy after 9am, I'd say about a 20 min wait for seating. Beings how they've only been open for a week, expect to show them some grace while they work out the kinks with handling crowds, turning over tables, and serving. While we seemed to be forgotten about by our original server who seated us and took our order, another server stepped up and would ask if we needed anything which we appreciated. We also witnessed her dealing with some difficult patrons next to us, and she handled them like a champ and with smiles, even as they sent back food 3 different times. Overall: the food was great, the service is working out kinks but wasn't bad by any means, and we will be back again soon!

Absolutely love this place! Staff and owner are wonderful. Food is good for a great price and quantity. Have been here many times. Mistakes happen but they fix them! The lady busing tables accidentally took my more than half eaten salad while I was in the bathroom and they made me a completely fresh new one, even after saying it was okay. The owner is always working hard, and can even be seen taking orders, cleaning tables, running food. Very hands on, you can tell she’s a boss that won’t ask you to do anything she’s not willing to do. I started coming here because of one of her elderly regulars. She was on vacation this last week and answered her cell phone for him. He apologized for calling on vacation and said he would call in to Caleb’s to give his order. She assured him it was no trouble, took his order and sent it on….. WHILE on VACATION. True dedication, you can really see the love she has for her business and customers! Top notch customer service! You won’t be disappointed.

Came here for lunch on Sunday and boy is this spot popular! Thankfully the wait wasn't that long, and they seated us in a nice booth (always useful with young children). There's a good amount of seating inside as well as some outside (though it rained the day we came, so no one was outside). They have large booths (could fit 4 comfortably, up to 6) as well as smaller, 2-person booths, and tables. Everything was delicious! My sister, who is gluten free, said it was the best gluten free waffle she's ever had. I normally don't like scrambled eggs, but their scrambled eggs were perfect, not dry, and not overly moist. The cinnamon bun French toast was sweet, yet also cinnamon-y, and my kids gobbled up their waffles with gusto. All the food came out fairly quickly after we ordered and service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. Honestly, I understand now why it was so packed when we first arrived. Highly recommend!
