Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Kansas City

Update 3: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU'VE LOOKONG FOR PIZZA HUT PIZZA! They have stopped putting sauce on their pizzas at this location. Tonight we asked for extra sauce yet there was next to zero sauce on either pizza we ordered. It was seriously just bread and cheese with toppings. Due to this absence of sauce it didn't even taste like a Pizza Hut pizza. Honestly the food was the only saving grace in this store full of screwballs but now that's gone too. It's as if they're trying hard to get the place closed and loose their jobs. This Pizza Hut store specifically is the worst place in all of Kansas City to get a pizza. Congrats to the crew ther on this new milestone! End of update 3.

This Pizza Hut constantly screws our delivery orders up. Today's was the worst ever though. Ordered pizza to be delivered at 8pm. I get maybe it'll be 10 minutes earlier or later thats a non-issue if thats the case. Pizza arrived 40 minutes early. In addition tongetting there early they had left out extra sauce cups we ordered and both pizzas were shoved over to one side of the box and smashed like they'd dropped the box.

Called the store, they said they would remake the order and have it there at or near 8pm. Cool, no problem. Its now 8:20pm and just got a message that Door Dash was delivering it and was expected to be here at 8:45. No idea what the thought process at that store is but it certainly isn't pride in what they do.

To be fair we did call them back, Door Dash is delivering the pizza, it had left the store, and they did give us a full refund. Thats all well and good, but our disappointment is immeasurable and our dinner time is ruined.

Uodate: We sometimes order from here still because its the closest pizza hut and we need a good laugh at how they'll screw it up. Tonight took the cake though. They delivered us an empty box.... dead serious, a completely clean, nothing was ever in it, empty box. What are they on and can they deliver that instead of pizza.... might be...

Unfortunately, this Pizza Hut is very inconsistent. I thought that I would give Pizza Hut another chance after we moved and the one closest to us changed. The first 3 visits were perfect. They put a reasonable amount of cheese on the pizza... We actually stopped eating at our old Pizza Hut because there was so little cheese that you could see through it to the sauce and crust below... I was so happy to get cheese on my pizza again that I started picking up pizzas every Saturday. But then the cheese went away again. Maybe it's a corporate requirement that they reduce the amount of cheese for thier promotions. What's crazy is that the $7.99 large promo let's me get 3 pizzas for my family. On that same order, there is usually one with a reasonable amount of cheese and two with almost none... I've also wondered if the corporation had started requiring them to reduce the amount of cheese so you are forced to pay for extra cheese, which was the regular amount of cheese in the 90s, as this is an issue at any Pizza...

Wish I could rate 0 stars!!!! I paid for my food and tipped before their closing and the order was placed, then I call to confirm and Taylor tells me, “oh we close soon so I’m sorry you paid but we aren’t fulfilling the order because technically, it’ll be delivered after we close” I asked why did the system allow me to pay and submit an order.. his response, “I honestly don’t know”. I explained to him that I’m a flight attendant and depend on dominos and Pizza Hut for food when I get in from flying, the dominos near by already didn’t have an delivery drivers so I told Taylor they were my last hope and I didn’t have any other options for food. He told me “no” still. This is unacceptable. If the store is refusing to do deliveries that were placed BEFORE closing, the system shouldn’t allow customers to pay! Now I have to wait days for 2 refunds for issues that weren’t my fault! I am so disappointed and HUNGRY. What kind of Pizza Hut closes at...
