Northern Lights Pizza — Restaurant in Kansas City

First few times I ordered from them it was great, but then I got one order that was completely wrong. At first I called and they comped me for the pizza saying they were "super busy". Well today I ordered and got two completely wrong pizzas that weren't even fresh when I got them. I ordered one small cheese pizza with parmesan crust and I got a luke warm cheese pizza with plain crust. I also ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with asiago crust and received a luke warm pizza with plain crust. Not only did it take them an hour to get the pizza to me even though I live 5 minutes away, but they also brought me luke warm pizza that wasn't even correct! I called and got the excuse that the ovens were off now and that they were "super busy". The only good thing is I'm getting a full refund and will be comped for the pizzas they messed up for the second time. Now I have to go heat up pizza that should have been fresh when I got it. If I wanted to have to heat up my pizza I would have bought a frozen one from the store. After I get my refund and my comped pizzas tomorrow I will not...

They are so good that I felt compelled to write a review. Their pizza and bread sticks are delicious every time we order- they are Always on point! What has compelled me to write the review though is their customer service. Every time I call, they are very nice and courteous over the phone, they make an effort to focus on one order at a time so they don’t seem hurried or like I’m a bother. When I walk in the door to pick up my order, the lady and gents at the register are always super genuine and nice when they welcome me in. Often I order pizza when I have had a very stressful day and we don’t have time to cook for the family, so this team really puts a smile on my very stressed out face. Customer service like this is rare and very appreciated when I am always on the go and so many people I encounter don’t take a second to just be genuine and kind. I have been ordering pizza from Northern Lights for a couple years. Today I noticed 2 charges on my bank account totally over $150 dollars on a date I did not order from them. When I called to get it corrected the the Manager stated it was my problem and even raised her voice to me. She said the previous person I spoke to about the charges had researched the charged amounts and that there was no such charges in there system. Funny thing is I never was asked what the charges were nor did I give her that information. Beware do not give any card information they will not refund fraudulent charges. Well pizza shoppe will be getting all my business! Your offer to help now after my post to Google is appreciated but you should have done that when I voiced the concern.
