Edit: doordash or not a review is meant so other people can know about your experience this is what I experienced go ahead and report the truth to Google I'm a local guide so plenty of people will see my review you do realize that your doordash customers are still your customers 😂😂😂 sorry you can't handle the truth maybe you should not be so stingy and give a bag to your doordash drivers or better yet don't do doordash if you can't treat them no different than your regular customers......

This place ain't all it's cracked up to be. First off I have never had an issue with this place but last week was the very last time I ever will pick up a doordash order from them. I came in to pick up my customers order about a week ago. My customer had two pizzas two salads and two drinks. The salads were in a paper bag sideways. I kindly asked them if I could have a plastic bag with handles to put the salad in since I have two drinks two pizzas and a sideways paper bag of salads. The lady that works there told me no she can't give those bags for doordash orders!!! What??? Those are your customers too!!! I let my customer know about their actions and that apparently when u order doordash your not considered a "customer" here. I delivered all kinds of orders for this place but I refuse to be treated like that over a plastic bag!!! The real deal is the owner is cheap and saves ever penny he can!!! No reason why my customer and your customer couldn't have a bag for there salads so I could carry everything they had!!! I will never eat here nor pick up another doordash again!!! This Pizza shop used to be five stars. In the last year it has gone downhill with hit and miss on the quality of the food. No problems ordering during the busy weekday lunch, or even a to go order at lunch. The problem I have is on the weekends when they are not so busy. On one Sunday while I was picking up a to go order, the person waiting on me was obviously very sick with a bad cold. She should have gone home and not been serving food. Not even to go orders. One month later when I came in to pick up a to go order the same server was sick again behind the counter. Yesterday I ordered a small pizza with bacon (plus extra bacon) and light sauce with a small salad with dressing on the side and little cheese on the salad. What I got was A small salad with hardly any lettuce on the plate swimming in dressing which I sent back and she brought me a New salad and stated I should have said I wanted the dressing on the side. I did say that she did not listen. The pizza was swimming in sauce and had about 2 tablespoons of bacon on it and a ton of cheese. The bottom of the crust was burnt. every other time I have ordered a pizza with bacon only it is always a good amount of bacon only on it. By the way, this was the same server that has been sick the last two times I came in. This time she was not sick but she did not smile once and acted like she had other things to do than wait on customers. It is a shame this place is going downhill. The same day I drove by Minsky‘s and they were jampacked with people. This restaurant only had four tables seated. I am leaving Kansas City but I will remember Pizza Shoppe for when it was a good...

My wife called the order in around 6:40pm. Was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. (Queen Cheese Pizza, Big Shoppe Salad, Breadstick, and Ham sandwich) I arrived at exactly 7:05pm. Only a few tables were left. Not a single customer came in until a few minutes before I left for a To-Go order. I waited for another 20+ minutes, after tipping $7 on a $37 To-Go order. Finally a Lady dressed in regular clothing (yellow shirt) walked back into the kitchen to see what the deal was on the wait. And I overheard one of the “kids” in back say “idk why the cheese pizza didn’t get put in”…. Well I’ll try to explain why, based off what I seen… overstaffed, underaged kitchen, with zero authority back there. I actually feel bad for the Woman in charge. The entire 20 minute wait sitting by the kitchen was like sitting in a Highschool locker room. It’s really not that big of a deal but when you factor in how bad the pizza was, it’s pretty frustrating. On top of a 19 minute drive for me one way. Passing many local KC pizza delicacies along the way. My family loves this place. I’ve always had great food from other locations but not from here. I’m sorry but I’m not sorry.
