Wendy's — Restaurant in Kansas City

This location is terrible. 1st it took me forever to even get up to the speaker in the drive thru line and there was only 1 car ahead of me that only got a drink and one small bag of food handed out to them (when I finally got to the window they got their order after it had already taken me 12 minutes to put in my order for 2 junior deluxe burgers and a small sprite{6minutes waiting just for sumone to actually start taking my order and after I told them the 2 burgers I was told to hold on and 4 min later I was told to go ahead and I told her the Sprite and got told to please pull forward without even being asked if that was all, so I said can I get my total please and was told I will have it for you at the window and I said I'm counting change it would be great if I could get it now and was told it would be just under 6 bucks exactly like that and then told to pull forward again} so I pull forward to see the people ahead of me just Finally be given their order and when I got to the window and was told my total I count out the change and give it to them get my order and check it and it was messed up so since no one was behind me I honked told them and she snatches the bag out of my hand and rudely tells me to pull around so they can help other customers (still no one was behind me) BUT I pulled around to find that the car that was in front of me was now parked in front of the door and the person was inside obviously their order had been wrong too. So I sat there waiting and 8 min later I walked inside to find out where my food was..the guy at the counter had to go find sumone who was apparently out back and no one seemed to know that I even had ordered food let alone that they had messed it up and needed to remake it, so finally I get my food and it was still wrong but at that point I was too mad to even argue with them about it any more because I probably would have went over the counter after their rude *sses! This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant fast food or otherwise and that's bad Cuz I used to work 3rd shift at Antioch road waffle house when wetherbys was still in business so our shifts got pretty wild...and that was still by far the worst business I have ever encountered. And I definitely will not ever go back to this location. And probably won't go back to any wendy's for...

Exactly what I expected!! Hard cold fries, I order regular nuggets I get spicy nuggets, I don’t know who made the ice but it was great!! Gotta love the owner who must have steep pockets to pay for this horrible experience eventually this Wendy’s will be another Hardee’s(Ghost Town Jr.) i personally think it’s a great place to go after a funeral especially if you order in the drive thru they really give you time to look over the menu!! if it’s 2 cars in line forget it lol no one skips the line here they take 1 order at a time to be sure they forget the straw, reverse your order and make sure the fries are below 2 degrees!! gotta freeze them things don’t want you to burn yourself ( very thoughtful lol) I give 5 stars because I told her don’t go to this Wendy’s…” drive to the next state” (Seriously The next State Over), she came back to quick that’s when I knew I should of went myself, I know it’s gone be a bad Experience the last time I came here mr Jackson (my $20 dollar bill) said don’t leave me here you gone be mad! I didn’t listen and look what it got me lol! Laugh now cry later! If the parking lot is empty go somewhere else it’s not worth it!! It cost me $23 to find out so dine at your own risk! This Wendy’s is a cold piece of work after lunch time hopefully though y’all get it together you have great potential to be great all jokes aside I’m not sure if you guys might need a raise to give a you know what, I’m not sure but what I am sure of it starts with the owner down!! If your the owner and don’t care about it sell it geesh just show a little pride in making money off the community and fix the parking lot and hire people who can actually work or just cut the night shift short close at 5pm save money they not coming to work anyway or pay the morning crew double time that’s the only time you get EXACTLY what you order in less then 3 min of ordering hope you find this helpful if you don’t then hey keep up...

I've come here many times as a local resident. I don't know why I continue to come back... I usually don't post a review but this last time was the worst and warrants a review. On Monday evening I wanted to sit and eat here for dinner. As I walked up to the door, another customer stopped me and said "do you work here?" and I said "no just coming to eat here! Why?" He then said "The door is locked. Was hoping you worked here and could unlock it!". So I then got back into my car and went through the drive thru. I ordered a $5 biggie bag with a (Jr. bacon cheeseburger option). She asked me what sauce and drink. I said "Dr. pepper and honey mustard please". When I got my food, I saw there was no honey mustard. They gave me BBQ sauce instead. WHY even ask me if you're gonna throw random sauce in the bag? So I asked the gal nicely for honey mustard and some ghost pepper ranch. She then proceeded to hand me regular ranch. No honey mustard or ghost pepper ranch. So I politely asked again, and on the 3rd try she finally just gave me one of each. I was frustrated but always polite. I drove home and of COURSE they got my food AND drink wrong as well. They gave me coke instead, and forgot to put tomatoes and other toppings on my burger. Not to mention, the burger was cold and the bacon was inedible/chewy and burnt. Like.... how do you mess up EVERY aspect of my order? This is why I hate drive thrus in general. They can mess up your order and then you drive home to find out it was incorrect. They never have gotten my order right at this location, and this was the last straw. It's sad, especially since there aren't many fast food chains in this part of town. Options are minimal around here! I hope they get new employees and new management here. Otherwise corporate just needs to shut...
