Tammy's Place — Restaurant in Kasson

Don’t bring your kids here, there’s vulgar frame on the wall next to the bathroom, you wouldn’t know what type of restaurant it is until you walk in and it’s basically just a bar.

The service was good, the waitress was on point other than she gave us the wrong thing we ordered Totchos and got soggy nachos. If you are going to serve nearly identical dishes make sure to give them the right one.

The pork was dry and bland in the pork nachos, clumped up and not what you would expect from a simple dish, pork needs to be the star in this dish.

Everything is really expensive, you can’t just go in and spend 20 bucks for a couple people it’s gonna be 40+, we got baited in to buying a 10 dollar piece of cheesecake, which wasn’t even a big piece or anything special it was a simple small piece of cheesecake for 10 dollars.

The chicken wings were well cooked but needs sauce, the fries were good.

TLDR; it’s a pub, it’s loud and you don’t bring kids and expect to spend easily 20-30 dollars for a single person, good...

Me and my fiancé decided to have a date night tonight. She said she wanted to go to Tammy's place in Kasson. I've never heard of it, but she had been there last year and she loved it! Tonight though, was an absolute fail for a date night. Once we arrived we were greeted with great staff. Orders were taken fast. The drinks showed up almost immediately after ordering. Our order went in at 5:12pm. At 5:38 I had asked for the check because we were hungry, and still no food. The lady that was serving us asked us just to hold tight so she can talk to her boss about maybe getting at least the drinks comped. No avail. That didn't bother me though. What bothered me was seeing who the boss was, tossing em back at the bar. Terrible representation of being a "boss". After watching 4 people come in well after we had ordered, and seeing them getting their food was quite irritating. Would I go again? No. Good service,...

Mixed feelings are how I will best describe it. My out west burger, great but they forgot the BBQ sauce, and the bottom bun was soaked. Btw it needs some sort of onion tanglers on top to.

They have a taco salad, but no Western dressing. The chicken was dry, and in small cubes, get the beef.

Kids' quesadilla was cooler than expected but worked out great because he could start eating right away.

The atmosphere is cramped IMO because it's so small, and one section near the bathrooms is wasted with cushioned chairs for a "hang out area" nobody wants to sit by the toilets, but its wasted space imo.

It was packed, and open tables were not cleared when we arrived. It was busy, understandable. They did clear it quickly though.

Overall it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't a we gotta come back here more often feeling either. Great benefit to kasson, it needs more places like this, Rochester is too far for...
