I went through the drive thru during a terrible rainy moment. As the rain slammed me in the face, I waited a short moment for a person to come on the other end of the top box. I put my window up when I finally heard a voice signaling for me to make my order. When i the female voiced as me to repeat it, I assumed it was because they couldn’t hear me over the loud heavy rain. I stated my order again, loudly. She responded with a drink’s name that was incorrect. With a drenched face, I stated, “I’ll just pull to the window.” Finally I made my order. As it was being handed to me, a lady, who I assume was in a position of authority came to the window a “stated we don’t want to open our window window either. Next time make your order the right way because it disrupts the flow of orders. Despite still being hit in the face with the rain, she stated this with a scolding tone, I understood the message but her delivery was very rude and unprofessional. Lesson learned - don’t go through the Starbucks drive through on a ridiculous heavy moment and encounter audio communication issues with the person on the other end of the talk box and drive to the window thinking...
Read moreSmall cozy location. Rarely filled to capacity. Can't speak for the WIFI service as I haven't used it, but everything else is on par with a good indoor experience. So far so good with all the staff here.
Most often I use the drive through at this location, and the service of one staff member in particular deserves special praise. Enough so, that I was compelled to come here and write this review. And that team member is Mateo. I'm always greeted very personably. Always smiling. Always friendly. Asks me how I'm doing, how I've been, tells me it's been a while since he's seen me, that it's good seeing me, makes note of my new car or new hairstyle, etc. It's as if we've been old friends forever and we're just catching up. Not a whole lot of people in the world have that type of genuine charisma. When Mateo is working the window I ALWAYS leave with a smile, and I always feel content should any issue arise with my order, Mateo would surely take care of me.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is the true embodiment of customer service. Give this guy a raise. Promote him. Whatever you do, don't lose him!...
Read moreNegative stars for atmosphere, the restaurant was dirty, tables needed to be cleaned, trash was over flowing, restrooms a disaster. It appeared to only be 3 teens (maybe early 20-somethings) in the store, and it just was a big disappointment.
I had high hopes at the start, the barista helped me order a specialty drink I wanted in decaf (unavailable), which was kind since I didn't know how to order the desired drink profile. But then, I waited a long time and none of the staff called my name, and finally went up to the counter and the drinks had just been sitting there for a while, and no one said anything. It was weird. When directly addressed, however, each staff member was very kind. It is almost like if they aren't talking into the headset or at the register, they aren't sure how to initiate contact with the guests.
And, worst of all, the coffee was extremely bitter, tasted old. I tossed it on top of the overflowing trash and left. I will not go back in an evening again, I'll stick to early daytime visits...
