We were waiting for our phones at Verizon and I was getting a little hungry so I walked next-door and ordered a pesto sandwich light pesto. The young lady behind the counter was not very engaging when I got my sandwich and I walked next-door to Verizon. I opened it up and it was completely doused and pesto sauce. I walked back over and on principle I asked for a refund but at this point I just didnāt want the sandwich. The young lady had no idea how to process a refund on my credit card nor could she give me a gift card? Not that I wouldāve used it but again this is when principal the kitchen guy came out and said he could remake it and I just told him I really donāt want it. I was given the managerās number I havenāt called yet and I donāt know that Iāll have time to but this was a very depressing store very depressing food and very depressing atmosphere. The young lady informed us the reason it was taking so long was because I got slammed with online orders I understand the online orders can take precedence but when you have customers waiting in the store itās a little infuriating to hear that people online are getting jumped before people who are waiting patiently in the store. You guys really need to make some changes, I wish you luck, but we will never be back. I understand that young folks in the Customer service industry are still learning, but this young lady was just flat and completely disconnected from even engaging with The customers I felt also like I was an inconvenience and a disease while I was standing there. I know itās hard to get good labour these days, but what an Awful experience For two smoothies and a sandwich, doused in pesto...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame in today at 11 and the customer service was awful. Stood at the register waiting to order for over 5 minutes with three employees present. When i asked is someone taking orders the worker Alondra said she was making food and proceeded to walk back to where she came from. After waiting more with two employees in my presence (a black girl and black boy, would use their names but they refused to give me that information) my order was taken my Alondra (at least that what my cups says). I then watched my order be made and poured into the cup then set down by the black guy employee as then proceed to attempt to make other orders until i asked him to hand me my order since I had been waiting for so long to even order. Do you know he still continued to do as he was doing then hand me my cup⦠the audacity which he probably thought he was being funny doing that. So with me being displeased with my service I called in to speak to the manager which isnāt present so I asked when will they be in and to have the names of employees on shift at that time to speak on my experience with the manager later. Do you know Alondra questioned why I wanted their names, and refused to give them to me then proceed to hang up on me while I was still talkingā¦. What an awful experience for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI work near this location and frequented it about 3 times a week, at minimum. At first, the food and service was good, but quickly declined. I normally order a Chia bowl and a PB Crunch flatbread. The last several times Iāve gone, the flatbread is terribly overcooked and dry, and the last time it was hard a rock. Iāve complained about the flatbread several times, to no avail. The last couple of Chia Bowls Iāve gotten have had an extremely weird aftertaste and one of them actually tasted bad, so I had to throw the entire thing away. Went there with the receipts and even a video of the rock hard flatbread and the manager on duty did absolutely nothing about it. Just said āOkā and gave me the total for the order I was picking up. I not only left feedback at that location, but at the Clay location as well. I also did the feedback on the receipt, with no one reaching out to assist. The Clay locationās manager has been helpful and friendly. I left my name and number there to be sent to upper management and still have not received a call back to address any of these concerns. Iāve spent a lot of money at Tropical, but until someone reaches out to address these concerns, they have lost...
