Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Kaufman

The last time I bought donuts from this location was over 4 to 5 years ago. Remember being fresh hot and delicious.

Now, nothing was fresh and hot about any of the two donuts I ordered. I purchased 1 blueberry cake and a apple fritter. All the while the short heavyset man behind the counter was giving me the side eye while helping others. I guess because the donuts were $1.29 an $0.95. And she told me that my total was $3.00. And I had mentioned that could not be the price. So she rang the total again and finally said it was now $2.42. The Apple fritter was was half stale like it was leftovers from the day before. I’m torn on how many stars to rate this place. They have the best everyday donuts. They are so yummy and delicious. However, I just purchased some birthday donuts and they are less desired. We came in early on Valentine's Day asking for 26 doughnuts for my son's class designed a certain way and they did it with no hesitation whatsoever!! He definitely got cool points that day;). Thanks guys y'all are always polite, servers and bakers are on top of their game😘....
