Little Hunan Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Kearny

I have ordered from Little Hunan at least once a week spending on average at least $50.00 each time for years. Tonight I was charged 3.65 for 1 order of Spring Rolls that we’re not in the bag. I called and spoke with the woman who interrogated me and insisted they were in the bag. I tried to explain everything was out of the bag and placed in my kitchen table but she continued to insist that they were there. I said I have been calling your store for years spending a minimum of $50.00 and you are going to aggravate me over an order of Spring Rolls. I told her keep them, my point being she lost a customer. I felt like I wanted to invite her into my home to investigate this was how persistent and aggravating she was. I’ll give 1 star for the food that did come. Clueless as how to handle a simple mistake. She should have taken my word and said no problem, will drop an order off to you. It wasn’t like I was asking for a shrimp or beef dinner. I have been going here for years. They're been several different owners. But by far this younger family that runs it now are the best. The owners are wonderful on the phone very friendly in person. And so is his daughter. Their portions are great prices are extremely reasonable and the food taste good. We're not in New York City here so the pickings are slim for good Chinese food. Disappointed. My fiancé and I finally found our go-to Chinese takeout, and they raised the prices unbelievably high. Quart of Shrimp and broccoli was just $12-13, now it’s $17. Everything else is raised as well. Greedy and ridiculous.
