Chuy's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Keenesburg

This place is a joke, across the board.

No consistent hours of operation. Worst Birria I’ve ever encountered. The person working there literally advised me to not buy it. I should have taken their advice. It tasted like fried disappointment. No nachos, but they have chips? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Y’all can’t throw meat and cheese on some chips you already have that are offered for free?! They’ll let you assemble your own DIY nachos but they won’t sell you any. When I asked the person working there about that, they laughed.

After 3 trips there, the food quality ranges from bad to mediocre. I wish there was at least one redeeming value so I could give this small-town eatery more than one star. Mediocre food, bad menu, and completely awful hours...

I would give 5 stars for the food. The food is wonderful! However, my family has come to this restaurant on 3 separate occasions. Each time not only does Google say they are open, but so does the sign on the door. It is 15 minutes past when they are open and not an employee to be seen. The doors are locked and lights off. Each time there are multiple customers waiting for Breakfast Burritos like us. Poorly managed in a town that desperately needs a consistently good restaurants. When/if this restaurant starts operating when they say they are open, I will change my review. Until then, advertise Brunch Burritos not...

I had the Smothered Bean & Cheese Burrito with the works was pretty delicious don't know about the rest of the menu yet and it was my first time here and only took 5 minutes for my to go order to be ready. 🌯 🌮 Now today 3-29-21 I've eaten here 5 times in 45 days and everything has been yummy delicious with a very short 8 to 10 minute wait for preparations for your to go order and the Smothered beef bean an cheese with the works burrito today was pretty damn good ! ! I tried the Tamales on the side too definitely tasty and fresh 🤤 My preference• I usually take it home an have a couple beers with it♡YUM 🍻...
