Sooo, I was passing by the McDonalds in Yorkville (on Bridge St.) the other day & picked-up something for my hubby. It seems like every time we did frequent this location, our drive up orders are messed up. Are they doing this because they’re bored or want a laugh at customers expense? I don’t know. We’ve stopped going to this McDonald’s altogether & have started going out of our way to the Yorkville, Oswego or Plainfield Wendy’s instead. I really don’t know how they stay in business because I’ve asked others who live in the area and/or currently/used to frequent this location, if their drive up orders are correct or not.
8 out of 10 people mentioned 1 or more of the following: they’re frustrated with their messed up drive up orders and now go somewhere else. there’s a woman in the early morning drive up window shift that never gets the order correct, never smiles nor responds to a “good morning”. early morning shift ALWAYS burns the bagel on steak/egg/cheese breakfast sandwiches. When customers try to complain about burnt bread, McDonald’s employees shrug & tell you it’s the setting on the toaster that cannot be changed. they’ve tried doing a survey & nothing changes.
Do I recommend anyone ordering from this location? ...
Read moreI go here a couple times a week and the employees are generally pretty nice and the food is decent, but the last few weeks it seems that they're having a hard time getting the food out all at the same time and there is a long wait for your food. You have to pull into the drive through parking and wait. Sometimes it can be more than just a couple minutes. While waiting, other foods like fries get cold and you have to ask them to replace them. A couple times I drove away without checking the fries and had to go back. I don't order anything special usually a QP w/cheese and some fries with a Coke to drink. What puzzles me is that it is not usually at peak times and I drive away wondering what the experience would be like if they were actually busy. It may be because of all the precautions they have to take now but it can be very frustrating to say the least. I would feel better if they told you that if that is the case, as it otherwise appears they can't keep their act together resulting in...
Read moreWe went there for lunch on 8/8/24 at about 11AM in the drive-through and got double quarter pounder meal, 6 piece nuggets-happy meal, and double cheeseburger. We found mold colonies, looks like zygomycota, on the bottom of the bun. My pregnant wife was very upset after seeing it on the burger. It isn't the flour dusting, which is white and expected, but this is green. I'm attaching a picture of one of the buns for reference. I called the store afterwards to make sure to inform them to watch what they are serving, but any bread in that packaging should be thrown away. I hope none of us get sick from it. This could happen at any restaurant, but I'm concerned that it made it to the customer. The person I spoke to about the issue was nice and offered an in store credit, but we are wary and will likely not go back anytime soon. I wish I had received the receipt so that I had more details. Check your food carefully before eating if you go to this location, hopefully it...
