Had a good experience last Sunday. Carlos at the front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly to me which is why I am writing this review. He opened the front door for me and helped me with my tee time booking when I couldn’t find it. We had a great conversation about my time in the military, and he also helped me out with my questions about their membership. Even while dealing other customers, he took the time to have a pleasant conversation with me and help me out. You could tell he’s a smart, good kid who really cares. It's refreshing to encounter such genuine hospitality and customer service nowadays. His service was so outstanding that I gave him a 20 dollar tip. Well deserved! The older lady Maria and older gentleman Mike are also very nice to me in the pro shop whenever I see them. Really impressed with the new bar and proshop, after years of construction they came out great. The blonde girls at the bar Sofia and Karen were very kind to me aswell and the food was good. Great addition to the facility! The new driving range is also a nice upgrade with the new golf trackers they added, though I did notice the range ball prices have gone up significantly and you get way fewer balls now. The trackers are a cool feature, but honestly it doesn't justify the price increase for less balls. You can tell the place is getting busier because of the new pro shop, it's definitely drawing more people in. Unfortunately, the outside staff are quite inattentive. Justin the starter, was on his phone the whole time which was pretty unprofessional and disappointing, I get he's a young kid but he just didn’t care when we were talking to him. The asian guy usually does a better job because he is stricter. The course gets backed up all the time because the starter doesn't pay attention or manage the flow of play. The carts are dirty and I've found trash in them sometimes like empty beer cans. Often the staff just sit in carts instead of coming up to actually help customers. On a positive note, the cart girls are really nice and have alot of drinks especially considering how super hot it is outside. I have mixed feelings about the collared shirt requirement. On one hand, I apprecate that it makes the course feel more professional and I can see that Miccosukkee Golf is trying to improve their image. On the other hand, sometimes you just want a more relaxed golf experience without worrying about the dress code. The facility upgrades show they're heading in the right direction, overall great staff, hopefully they hire new outdoor staff that actually do their job. But still a decent experience overall and I'd highly recommend this course to anyone...

Let’s just call it what it is: this course is a scam with flagsticks.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by Mike at the pro shop — a man who radiates pure hatred for his job and everyone who dares walk through the door. No hello, no heads-up about the course conditions — just a death stare and a bad attitude.
Speaking of course conditions… the greens? Absolute war zones. They weren’t “punched and sanded” — they were straight-up unplayable. Think: bunker disguised as a putting surface. The sand redirected every putt like it was dodging responsibilities. Mike could’ve at least mentioned the greens were trashed, but apparently communication isn’t in his job description.
Then there were the golf carts — which stalled out four times. Not one. Not two. Four. At one point I thought we were going to have to abandon ship and carry our bags like it was 1923.
And the bathrooms? Genuinely hilarious. They give you a code like it’s some exclusive perk, but the doors are deadbolted. So unless you’re a locksmith, you’re out of luck.
Charging full price for this mess is borderline theft. This wasn’t a round of golf — it was a four-hour endurance test in customer neglect.

Read moreThis course has been home to me for a long time on the corner of my house. So many rounds and practice sessions. Too many to count. As of recent a lot of developments and enhancements have been made. I’ve been very excited to see it come to life and have even considered becoming a member, but one conversation with Mike from the pro shop made me know I wanted nothing to do with here. Was booked for a 9, saw that the 18 was only 10$ more, so I asked if we could switch it. He really wouldn’t let me void the 9 and book the 18 (all while in the pro shop). Was happy to tell me no and another 9 would be 50$ as if he waited all day to pass the news to someone or if he got commissions for the tee times. I’m all for raised prices. Changed rules. New scenes and improving the grounds, but make sure that attitude and service is improved with it. How do you want to be a serious golf course but can’t issue a void? Clownery. Not only was he incapable but all around rude and seemed happy to say no. Not my first strange interaction with the guy either. Love the Micc but man it’s always...
