I recently visited the Dairy Queen drive-through, and my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered a medium cone with extra sprinkles and a Brownie Heath Bar Delight. When the staff tried to hand me my cone, I noticed it was completely bare—there were no sprinkles on it at all. I immediately pointed this out and told her it didn’t even have enough sprinkles to be considered a regular cone. She took the cone back, but when she returned, she handed me the exact same cone with the same lack of sprinkles! I asked her, “Did I not pay for extra sprinkles?” She acknowledged that I did, yet I was still given nothing. Frustrated, I requested that she put the sprinkles in a cup so my daughter could actually enjoy what I paid for. After some back and forth, she finally got me a cup of sprinkles, which should have been a straightforward fix in the first place. When I got home and tried the Brownie Heath Bar Delight, I was even more let down. There were only a couple of brownie pieces on top, and the fudge and caramel were mostly stuck to the sides of the cup, you can literally see the ice cream. It’s so thin there wouldn’t even none on top of the browni. I took pictures all the way around the whole entire dessert so you could actually see. It felt like I was just eating vanilla ice cream with a few toppings, which was not what I was hoping for. Since I wouldn’t make it back before closing time, I called the store to voice my concerns. The lady on the phone claimed to be the manager, but after I explained my issues, she said she needed to get upper management. It was clear she wasn't actually the manager. When the other person got on the line, they didn’t acknowledge my concerns or apologize, just taking my name and saying they’d note it. When I asked for her name, she gave me a fake name—“Latuda. Overall, this experience left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I hope my feedback can help improve service for future customers, as I have always enjoyed Dairy Queen in the past.

My 7pm visit today was appalling! Never have I ever been so disgusted! I ordered the 6 pc. chicken strip basket with a drink with no ice. Everything seemed fine at first and the food tasted really fresh. It wasn't until I was down to the last 1/4 cup of my large soda that I realized that there was something in my drink. I didn't know what it was, I had no reason before to take the lid off my drink, but when I was sipping on the straw and something solid slipped into my mouth, immediately opened my drink and spat whatever was in my mouth back into the cup it came out of. When I looked into the cup, to my horror, it looked like someone hocked a loogie in my drink! I got so sick to my stomach and can't believe anyone would do such a thing. My stomach is still turning over it. My nephew is calling the health dept tomorrow and we will get to the bottom of this! I attached photos. I would have not awarded any stars if I didn't have to. Check you drinks before you pull away. Nasty!

So we were in the drive through 10 mins ago, and we had to repeat our order like 4 times because the young lady kept repeating it wrong back to us. Once she finally repeated it right we got up to the window and I was missing my cheese curds, and had no extra sauce when I asked her earlier for it, and I asked for no gravy, I was only given gravy. We didn't get a straw, or fork for tenders, this is so disappointing since I always come for a snack. Prolly won't be back.

I arrived at the Dairy Queen location in Kendallville indiana on North Street at 625 pm 10/13/2024. My receipt number is DT-158. I also have GPS location with time date stamp. After placing my order for three large blizzards I waited in line for 25 minutes in drive thru. As you can see on my receipt I paid at 649 pm. It took 7 more minutes from then before I received my order. While waiting at the window I noticed no lobby visitors or at least no one in line inside. I counted 4 worker's. 2 in cooking area 2 in drive thru area. Assuming one making ice-cream. Cook area had one eating standing and one standing talking to him. One taking orders on drive thru one standing talking to them. There were 7 vehicles in line. One pulled out behind me. The time in line was ridiculous and uncalled for once I seen a fully staffed kitchen with a worry free standing around crew. Customers except a decent friendly staff. The young lady didn't say hi thank you or have a good day. Also the time frame and service for no reason is unacceptable. I am letting you know due to worker's taking advantage of company and pay and disrespect...

I went to this DQ with my Granddaughter. We went in and stood at the register and could see 4 people in the kitchen area, one person at the drive thru and one person near the ice cream area. A female employee walked behind us and went behind the counter, washed her hands, and shook them dry. She walked over and stood by the drive thru person. She looked at us, the drive thru person glanced over at us, and two people in the kitchen area looked at us. No one said anything to us nor did they acknowledge us. We waited about another minute and I had to raise my arms and ask if anyone was going to help us. A young man with short, curly black hair came to the register and took our order. He had a DQ shirt on but didn't have a name tag. He never smiled and proceeded to gather the order together. I am retired and have spent many years of my life in customer service before starting my career. I have NEVER seen or experienced such poor customer service. I am from out of state and I will never, ever visit a DQ again, especially in Kendallville, IN. I would definitely NOT recommend this...
