I was looking for a breakfast spot along the route from our house to Sandy Hook Beach that was open early on a Saturday. And by early, I mean we left our house at 6:30 to plan to get to the beach by 8. Michigan Deli fit the bill. We wanted to pick up a few breakfast sandwiches and regular sandwiches for lunch at the beach. For brekkie, I had a sausage and cheese on a roll. It was fine - I appreciated that they added two sausage patties since I didn't get egg in it. Hubby had the Brearley Bear (two eggs, pastrami, American cheese). I asked to switch to cheddar but they didn't. Both sandwiches were very filling and I was barely even hungry for lunch. We each also got a hashbrown on the side, which was soggy with grease, so avoid this one. For the lunch sammies, I had the Nick (chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, bacon, Russian dressing, sub roll, pressed). I wasn't sure how well the sandwich would last since it had dressing but it surprisingly held up pretty well. Overall, it was an okay sandwich. The bread was a little burnt as it had been left in the press for too long, and the chicken tasted like it had been refried because there were a lot of dried out bits. Hubby had the capicola, salami, pepperoni, and provolone sub, which also held up - and he enjoyed it. So it seems that regular cold cut sandwiches are good (though it's kind of hard to mess this up, isn't it) and the hot ones are so-so, or maybe you just need to eat them fresh. Note - their menu online is not updated. Prices are higher in the store than advertised on their site.

Small deli in an industrial area, solid though. 5 tables and 7 old school stools wrapped around a counter in this small deli. $13.33 got me a "Regina" and a vitamin water. Grilled chicken, mozz, lettuce, roasted red pepper, oil, balsamic, and red onion on a whole wheat wrap. Staff is very friendly and knows all the regulars. Parking up front and on the sides, about a 10 minute wait for fresh food. I'll come back.

Been here several times in my travels. The food is good. The service is great when the young lady is there, she holds that place up. Last week and over the summer when I went the older lady that rings the register had an attitude. She made a remark about me trying to ask a question cause she was on the phone which I didn't realize because she had her headset in and the phone call didn't seem work related. The other times the lady is sitting down while the younger lady runs around crazy. I thing whoever runs the place needs to look into replacing the older woman and giving the...

It's a cute little deli on a tiny street amongst a bunch of warehouse type buildings. The owners are super friendly and cute! You can tell they have been married a long time. Loved it. I've doordashed from here before, and something was always missing, but when we eat there or for pickup, it's always a pleasant experience. The food is decent. I am pretty sure the cream cheese is store bough, definitely not that fresh homemade taste, which is fine since it's not "Michigan bagels" lol. The bagel with cream cheese was just under $5, which is too much,...
