See amended note at bottom of this review.

It was a vry long day for both my husband and me. We decided that some sushi for dinner would be great. We have always enjoyed the food at Asian Fusion until tonight. I made a pick up order to the restaurant tnat included a Sunflower roll, a Shrimp Tempura, a Tuna roll and 2 Limencellos. When my husband got home - no Sunflower roll (which was $15.00). I contacted the restaurant and the lady helping me stated that she had packed the bag herself and insisted that she put it in there. She insisted multiple times that we were wrong and suggestd we check the bags again (there were 2 and she said she had packed 4). I finally told her I wanted an immediate credit to my bill. She suggested we could come back up there and get another one. (It's dark, cold and my husband is elderly.) I told her we would not even think about coming back up there for something that was their mistake. I asked to speak with the manager and she said there wasn't really one up there.

By the time I got back to my own meal - the shrimp tempura, it was cold and I found that several vegetables had not been cooked completely - they were raw on the bottom.

When something like this happens it's really unfortunate. She could have offered to have somone bring the Sunflower roll to us (we literally live a mile away), credit our account or to have the manager call me. It's left kind of sour taste. I'm not sure that we'll go back. Cindy Demme

Post Note: The owner, Li, called us tonight. This is the Asian Fusion that I remember. He was so kind - offered to bring us a Sunflower roll right away (we said no - didn't want him to come out in the cold) or tomorrow. He credited our bill for both the Sunflower Roll and my Tempura. I explained to him that I remembered him from our times at the restaurant. It was comforting to remake the connection! Thank you Li - you made our evening much...

2024 March update My wife and I came on Friday at 4:30 and practically had this wonderful restarts to ourselves. It's still a Hidden treasure! I added a photo of their wall art - very nice! Also, we ordered 2 plates of sushi, and they put flowers on the plate! Never seen that attention before. My wife and I visited this restaurant, hidden in a Publix plaza, for the first time this Friday before Memorial day weekend, at about 5pm. We were the first to get there. Another couple followed later and then a larger family of 7 arrived after. It's so nice to see customers patronizing restaurants after Covid. The Asian themed shop is clean and nicely appointed. The service people were all Asian/Chinese? Maybe a family owned business? Cool! The elderly man who served us was quite pleasant and accommodating, taking a keen interest in our needs. We ordered an appetizer- calamari, 2 chef special rolls - Kiss of Fire, and Ocean roll (with orchid flowers on the plate!), and also beef teriyaki and house lo mein, clearly more than we could eat, but we do that when we audition a new-to-us restaurant. My wife wasn't a fan of the texture of the calamari, it was a little too springy for her liking, but I enjoyed it and particularly the chopped onions and bell peppers that came in the dish. The sushi came next and it was delicious. My wife, who is a bit picky about her food, said it was the best she has had for months! I enjoyed them both. Lastly came the entrees. We dug in and enjoyed them briefly, having maxed out our bellies... We boxed up the remainder to enjoy tomorrow. Overall, a very pleasant dinner. We'll return and try other dishes. --- update --- Went to lunch and enjoyed an appetizer tempura shrimp and a large plate of House Special Fried Rice and my wife got overcooked crab Rangoon, but enjoyed luncheon size NY steak hibachi...

Edit 11/23 I added another star because I found another thing I like to go with the awesome soup. I think the lo mein is decent and thats what I get now. I do wish some of the other entrees were better because I love going here to get the hot and sour soup.

This place is too convenient for me not to go there. I have a mixed review of all the things I have tried so stuck with an average rating.

The hot & sour soup is really good. It is the first dish I have tried that seems to actually have spice. For now im getting the large Hot & Sour soup as my go-to just need to find something to go with it.

The sushi lunch special is decent too. Slightly better than grocery store roll sushi for a good price.

The dishes seem mostly Chinese with the staples of other Asian cuisine covered I have ordered a few dishes with family here are my opinions: Pad Thai- very very bland but not offensive Mango chicken- not spicy as indicated and chicken was thin and tough Cashew chicken-pretty good Honey chicken- thick breading on the chicken and sauce seems like literal honey maybe thinned a little, def not my style but Mom liked it Orange chicken- very very orangey, no spice at all but not offensive Coconut chicken- thick breading on chicken with a white sauce, I didn't like it bc it had literally no flavor but I don't know what I was expecting probably something like a coconut dredge then fried like coconut shrimp usually is

Overview, not bad but everything is bland even dishes I expect a pop...

Stop by and recommendation of a friend to try this place out. So I ordered a lunch pad Thai. It came with an egg roll which was good very crispy good flavor, store bought but still very good. It's hard for any restaurant to make their own egg rolls anymore. It also came with hot and sour soup which was good. The broth was good could have been more flavorful but I like mine a little more beefiness. But it was still good. The pad thai as someone else said was a different color than I was used to. This is an Asian effusion restaurant so some of the recipes would be different. The pad thai noodles were good the vegetables and chicken were very good the only difference would be the sauce. The sauce was slightly citrusy and although flavorful there was no underlying tie chili type flavor. More so notes of citrus lemon lime. As it stands on its own it was very good. It did not meet my expectations of what I in my mind and palate had for pad Thai. The people were very friendly service was good all in all good visit good food just different from what I expected. I will have to return and try other menu items

We were on the hunt for a new spot to try, and as we were checking out the menu at Asian Fusion in Kennesaw, a regular picking up their order started raving about the food—always a great sign! We decided to go for the Phoenix and Dragon, Salt and Pepper Prawns, and chicken Lettuce Wraps, all paired with a couple of Tsingtao beers. Every dish was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The balance of spices and textures made each bite a delight. To top it off, we happened to visit on Chinese New Year, making the experience even more special. The atmosphere, friendly service, and fantastic food made for a truly memorable meal. If you’re in the Kennesaw area, Asian Fusion is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!
