Okay I'm very very very late onto my review but I have to say, for one, these guys deserve every single star I can give. Second, the customer service is amazing. Knowing the owner and most of the crew members I'm very happy they are the owners of this amazing taco truck. Third, their tacos are the best I have ever had in town! Tacos Garcia is my number two. I have had Tacos Esperanza which are overpriced, Juniors Tacos which are not bad I live down the street, Esperanza #2 which is not too bad either, Tacos Tiscareño which was my childhood taco truck, Tacos Palomino, El Nuevo Amanecer, Jocho's Tacos, Tacos El Marino which was my favorite in the Flea Market, Chayito's which was near Mid-Columbia Grocery, Doñitas Tacos, Tacos Jalisco, Mr. Taco which I will never go to again. Tacos El Gordo in Vegas. So many more taco trucks and places I can't name at the top of my head.
Either way my point is none get to the level of Stack's. I can smell their consome already and I'm at home craving their tacos. Their bomb tacos or their regular tacos are too good. I love the bomb tacos because they're so crispy on the outside and the guacamole inside is so tasty. I had to ask for less cheese because of my braces, I can't chew it much. I love how they're not skimpy on the meat either. I eat a lot more than I should here but I do not regret it. I will be going again today after this review... 😂 Wednesday's are my favorite days to go. Tacos are $1 so I pig out 😛 Go there and try the tacos you will...
Read moreIt's pretty typical street food. They have a few options to choose from, and I usually get the carne tacos while my husband gets their burritos.
The prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of food. Especially their burritos, which are massive. I think my only complaint is that the tacos can get so greasy that it pools in the bottom of the takeout box and coats the other tacos which sounds nice in theory but it doesn't taste very good. Also. The I consistency with the sides is a bit strange. It's supposed to come with lime, a jalapeño, radishes, a sautéed onion topping, and some kind of spicy topping thing (I don't like spice so I don't eat it not 100% sure what's in it). But it seems like I'm always missing at least 2 things. Usually, it's the onions and the radishes. If I do get everything, it's not the same amount. For example, I opened my box once and found a single radish slice. I don't even know why we bothered putting it in in the first place. Especially since you can tell they are placed in separate from each other, it isn't kept all in one bin, and I happened to get a handful of some topping without radishes. It wouldn't normally be a big deal, but I think it really makes the tacos, so I always get disappointed when they...
Read moreWe got 2 birria, 2 carne asada, and 2 adobada bomb tacos and were blown away. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful, the tortillas were crispy and held together with melted cheese, the pickled radishes, cucumber, and onion were delicious, and the roasted jalapeño brought it all home.
They have an assortment of salsas and we wish we had asked for one of each so we could have compared them. The salsa verde was very light and the peach habañero was sweet and unexpectedly mild.
The pricing is appropriate for the quality and quantity of food. They have street tacos too if you are looking for the cheaper, smaller tacos, but 2 bomb tacos will fill you up.
If you are on a road trip through Tri Cities or if you live here you NEED to eat at this food truck. Authentic tacos are our absolute favorite food and we try so many different places all the time, but these so far are the best in the TC. Thank you for such...
