S'Lush Daiquiri Lounge and Grill — Restaurant in Kenosha

First went to the Milwaukee location and enjoyed it so much we decided to go to the other location. Food was on point and the aesthetic is very pleasant.

What ruined the experience for us was the service. We where greeted warmly by a woman who in this review we name “aunty” she was so pleasant throughout the night I wish she could of been our server. The server we got was a woman to whom I can not remember her name. She was waiting way too many tables at one time to where the quality given to each guest was minimized. She didn’t know the menu when we asked questions. We where a party of 4 and waiting for the 5th to arrive later. The problems occurred because we had to do everything our selves and the comments this server was making where unnecessary. “Aunty” checked in on us more then our server, she brought a folk and extra napkins for my lady to eat her pasta just off of observation because our server forgot. I asked my server for a fork to eat my sweet potatoes once they came to the table. She forgot so I asked twice after time went by she decided to be petty and bring me a to-go plastic wrap folk (our 5th to our party wasn’t even there yet so we definitely weren’t leaving yet) but I tried to give grace because like I mentioned prior she had way to many tables and would get up set when we called “aunty” to get our servers attention. Then shots came and the server made a comment of “how are we the other couples friends if we not paying for the birthday girls shot lol” the boy friend told the server he invited us and that he’s paying for her shots. Which he shouldn’t have to explain regardless. This the final point here. We finish our food and the 5th to the party arrives and all our plates and silverware where still there. We couldn’t get the servers attention. So my girlfriend and I had to stack up all the everything neatly for the entire table. The server seen it once she came to place the order for the 5th person (she ignored it) lots of time went by so I had to make 2 trips to the end of the bar to drop off all the plates so we had room for the hookah and drinks and space for the new person to eat. While at the bar I tried getting the server attention so I could close out and get the check but she just kept having conversations for tips with a dude about nothing related to food/service. “Aunty” seen me become impatient and called her. The server instead of just saying anything to me. She spoke to “aunty” infront of me and said I’ll get to him whenever I’m finished what I’m doing (while rolling her eyes)

In the end. My side of the party tipped (which is how we where raised) on top of the already added gratuity (which she didn’t deserve)

-essentially we had to serve old selves the entire night, beg to get service and the amount of time we just waited in between all these requests . “Aunty” was such a sweet lady she deserves...

So this review is long overdue. I decided to put this review on Google , because people need to hear the truth. So hear it is almost 2 years ago, Me and my husband stepped foot in that place. I was alarmed that the owner still feel hurt and choked up! about the last review I tagged her business in on fb. Me and my husband went to S’Lush the low budget bar/ restaurant in Kenosha Wisconsin on March 2, 2021 from the moment we walk up to the door, the greeter was not friendly at all. So we said ok, let’s try to look past that and sit down to check everything out. So we were seated and we decided to order food. My husband ordered a catfish dinner and I ordered some wings along with a few drinks. So we waited almost 40 minutes before they brought our food out. I couldn’t believe that when we got our food, we had to hunt down the waitress to tell her that we didn’t have any silverware. The waitress said ok She’ll bring us some out. We waited 10 minutes on silverware, now our food was cold. We never got any apologies, then they served us what was suppose to be catfish Swai fish! We told them that we knew for a fact that the fish was Swai. Me and my husband love Catfish so we know the difference. As far as the drinks, WAY TOO SWEET FOR ME! lol 😂 If you looking for a good SUGAR RUSH, DIABETIC COMA, AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE then S’ LUSH BAR & GRILL is the place to go!
